On 6-23-19 I needed a place to stay overnight to catch a flight the next day. I finally found WESTERN LODGE and Danielle made a bad trip into a wonderful one. She is wonderful and an asset to your Company. She went above and beyond. I have made a new friend and Thank you. Nice rooms and great service. Don't judge a book by its cover. If I had I would of never went through that door. Thank You, Misty Jo Duzich/Nebraska
I stayed here one night, the price was cheap and they did not ask for a ridiculous amount for a deposit because I was pay cash. The rooms are very cheap and looks like the kind of place a murderer would bring a prostitute to kill because the cover up would be easy because the way the rooms are so sloppily thrown together. There is only a standing shower, the window had only a sheer piece of cloth that was tacked to the wall as a cover, the bedding had cigarette burns in it, there is no ice machine, and the vending machines had issues, maybe they didn't like the cage they were in. The cage for the vending machine had a very tiny hole that you had to figure out how to get your hand in there to put your money in the machine. Upon check-out, I notified the owner that the soda machine ate my money and asked if he could provide a refund. He told me to call the number on the vending machine, I told him that he would see the vendor before me and asked if he could refund the 2 quarters that it took and that the vending machines are on his property and therefor his responsibility especially since there was no ice machine and no store to buy stuff close near by the least he could do was provide me the refund. Boy was I wrong, he proceed to tell me it's not his problem and get an attitude with me, so I gave him an attitude right back. He then told me that he is putting me on a "Do Not Rent" to list and was going to call the cops on me. All of this over fifty cents, he must have really needed that fifty cents to get so irate and want to call the cops on me. Worst hotel experience ever and it still angers me how I was treated there. If had the choice between sleeping on the sidewalk outside and this place, I'd take the sidewalk. Oh and it had what the owner called "cell wifi" which only worked outside of the room.…
Worst experience ever!! No kidding, this is a real dump. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I was visiting Phoenix for the weekend. My flight was arriving close to midnight. That's why I looked for hotels near the airport and thought this was a food choice. I was SO wrong! 1. They claim to collect security deposit when you check in. This is not new as most hotels "hold" an amount for incidentals, if any. This place does not do that. They charge your card as a regular charge and NOT a hold. In the fine print, it is written that the security deposit is refundable IF you leave the room in the same condition as when you checked in. What do they think I'm going to do to the room? Also, when they "refund" your security deposit the next morning, it will take 2 or 3 days to get the money back on the card as it was a charge and NOT a hold. 2. My room did not lock from inside. When I called the front desk receptionist (Crystal), she asked what's the big deal. No one can enter the room without the key and only she has the key. Was that supposed to make me feel better that my door does not lock? I asked her to call maintenance and she said that this is not her problem. 3. TV did not have a remote. 4. No microwave, fridge, coffee machine, phone in the room 5. My bed cover had cigarette burn marks all over it. 6. My room was stinking of smoke smell although it was a non smoking room. 7. The towels were dirty. Looked like blood on one of them. 8. They do not even have a business card. How is this even a legitimate establishment? I was so scared that the beds had bed bugs or worms are going to crawl out of the shower.…
Staff unfriendly and by the room I can understand why. The key didn't work so it needed to be unlocked for us. Door had holes in it and trim was non existent. TV was vandalized, light didn't work so we entered a card smoky smelling hole. There were holes in the bed covers and broken drawers in dresser,. Afraid to sit and sleep. Took a 25 dollar deposit for damage. How to damage a room more than it was we would have to be drunk or high. Which is a scary thought listening to the neighbors. Really bad experience. We asked for a non smoking room which if this was it lots of people break the rules.
This hotel is sort of unlivable in some parts of it. I saw that they said they had updated some rooms and the pictures looked nice. Well......first the lady (very unfriendly) tried to put me in a room that I would not even let my dog stay in. I told her I would not stay there. That's when she took me to "One of their nicer rooms". It was nicer, but that's not saying to much.It was kinda remodeled.....with salvaged items! Lets not even get into the tv, where I had to point the remote to the floor. Lol The young man who works there is nice and helpful, that's probably the best part except for the fact I stayed there 2 nights and nothing happened, Saturday night questionable.
