To be honest I was disappointed. I was here with my husband in 2009 & so I wanted to return. The resort seemed like it was dated & didn’t have the luster I once remembered. The mattress in our room was uncomfortable & needed replaced. The shower was old & didn’t fully spray from the shower head & instead sprayed water to fill the bath tub. It needs updated! No spa service was available because of COVID & their restaurant Pointe in Time was closed. The Cantina Restaurant was open but the food isn’t that great. My husband & I wanted to see about having a drink & watching the sunset at their restaurant, Pointe of View, but the staff up there was rude & treated us like we didn’t belong. The one thing I liked after a day of golf was drinking a cold beer & listening to the water falls at the pool. I did get in the hot tub but it was dirty inside & the temperature wasn’t very warm. As far as the layout of the room, I did like how the living room area is separated by two french doors from the bathroom & the bedroom. Will I ever return here to stay again? Unfortunately, no. :(

beckysS2716RZ, I’m glad you enjoyed the layout of your room and that you were able to relax at The Falls after your round of golf. We strive to provide exceptional service and an enjoyable experience for all of our guests and I’m disappointed we did not meet your expectations. I have shared your feedback with our housekeeping and maintenance leaders in effort to avoid such issues in the future. I hope you will reconsider and give us a second chance for another visit.

We came for a conference but I fortunately got to skip it and hangout at the resort for 2 full day’s! Typically I would go stir crazy and I’d want to go out and explore, but I was so content at the resort! I woke up each morning and got Starbucks and breakfast right at the resort, then headed over to the hiking trails right at the property! After my hike I sat by the pool reading for hours and was able to order drinks and food at the pool. The quinoa salad at the falls pool is amazing! The waitress even brought me some samples of sunscreen from her personal stash (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name, you deserve some recognition!) The sunset hot tub became my oasis in the early mornings and evenings. I’d imagine I would have a different experience in non-covid times when the resort would be busier. The hot tubs are small at some of the pools, so I’m glad I didn’t have to wait for others or try and squeeze in with strangers. The hotels is definitely older but I don’t feel it needs to be renovated, you can see the history and charm. A renovation would make it feel like any other modern hotel and that is not what most travelers want! If you want your typical modern hotel, go stay at one of the many other hotels in Phoenix. This resort has character and makes me feel like I’m in a different country! I hope to be back someday, this was the most relaxing trip I’ve ever had!

I love almost everything about this resort!!! The welcoming grand lobby, the interesting villas & landscape, hidden gem pools throughout the property, immaculate clean rooms, and the approachable & helpful staff. Bedroom was spacious and clean. Water available at the front desk. Daily maid service which is impossible to find during COVID. We ordered the burger and egg rolls for dine in and both were delicious and delivered in 15mins. Pools are cleaned regularly, good music & crowd vibe and towels well stocked. ****** There was one staff member that does not fit in with the Hilton brand customer service. I waited at the pro shop in line for about 10mins to inquire about practice range and tee time after 5 men before me were greeted respectfully. When it was my turn at the counter the older Hilton staff member turned his back toward me and after about 30 sec he looked over his shoulder and asked “can I help you?” As if I was disturbing or inconveniencing him. After he answered my “irritating” question a younger team member softened the other’s response and repeated the answers with the professionalism you would expect from Hilton and welcomed any further questions. It all was such a bizarre interaction that it stood out as it is not something you’d normally get at this resort.

Property is very old and dated. Room was not clean, tub and shower smelled like mold and urine. Double queen room had bed blocking doorway. Towels were old and thin. Amenities seemed scarce overall. No real dining except a small coffee shop near the pool. Food was mediocre at best. Staff seemed overwhelmed both at the restaurant and front desk. Took over 30 minutes to check in. Overall area did not have many dining options close by. Better value to stay in Scottsdale resorts.

BonVoyagemom1996, I am concerned to hear about the condition of your guestroom and thank you for sharing your feedback so we may look into it further. Our amenities have been slightly modified to meet COVID-19 safety guidelines and we are doing our best to ensure an enjoyable stay for all. We have three on-site dining establishments for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I’m disappointed we did not meet your expectations regarding food quality or service. Please know we take your comments serious as this is the only way we can continue to improve. Thank you.
