I'm traveling across America from Florida to California and have been staying with motel 6 4 nights in a row and also have in the pass many years ago and have never been disappointed with them until today!! I've booked online prices with confirmation numbers and everything. Drove 10 hours to come to rude customer service. I don't know who blindly hired her but small blonde girl with an attitude even though we both was being nice to her. Started out with I handed her my ID and she snatched it and slammed it back on the desk to me and gave me a different price. I told her I have a reservation here and a confirmation number and showed her a photo copied of what I had booked and still rudely wouldn't give it to me and quoted a different price. It's like what part don't you understand !? What's the point of booking online and having a confirmation number?? No explanation just rolling eyes and demands her quoted price. Thank goodness my husband was tired of her rudeness and told me to leave. So we went next door for a better place at the Red Roof Inn which on a Friday had a better deal, nice customer service, pet friendly, clean and even had fridge, microwave, free wifi and a much better room that I can check in right away instead of having to wait over an hour for a room that was pre booked like Motel 6!! Disappointed at this motel 6 and glad I didn't pay with my hard earn dollar for low service. I travel alot so will have to think again.…
Stayed here, beds are awful they have been updated but not very great. Toilets are low to the ground . Cracked tank top. Police showed up in the middle of the night. Didn’t feel like a very safe place to stay. The room is so small the full size beds are pushed against wall so difficult to get out of beds.
Managers are Rude(SHANNON) and need better customer service skills, a few front desk workers seemed high as a kite eyes were bigger then golf balls. There is no point of making reservations because of their stupid rule that check in is at 3 p.m. even though you already paid for room,my little sister caught pneumonia because we had to sit outside in the cold stormy weather for 5 hours and when I asked why the mangers response was that's the rule no one can check in until 3 p.m. and then I said but my room is paid for and I have a younger sibling who is 6 and it's cold for her out here, the girls and the manager just looked at me and said that's the rule and I said well it's a dumb rule so around 3:30 p.m. they finally gave me a key to my room and in the middle of the night my 6 year old sister had to be taken to a local emergency room which because of the motel 6 staff ignorance my little sister got pneuomonia and was hospitalized the rest of our stay,so upon me checking out the next day even though we only stayed in the room a few hours the other manager told me that we wpuld no longer be able to stay at any motel 6 because while me and my little sister were at hospital they had a noise complaint and that I was yelling and pounding on the walls but I told him he needs to check his facts because the noise complaint was made at midnight me and my little sister were both in a hospital room waiting for her to have a plethora of test done on her due to their stupidity and having us outside in the rain because we could not check in until 3 p.m. and even then they didn't give me a key until 3:30 p.m. even though my room was already paid for, the lack of professionalism really does suck and they need to take customer service classes and quit being so rude and judgemental of future customers because they are actually causing the motel to lose money by their ignorance and actions…
We are currently in this motel 6. When making this reservation my daughter specifically told them we needed a downstairs, handicapped room, as I cannot do stairs and need some stability in the shower. There was an elevator so that helped, but the walk to the room is at the end of the hall. Slipped until and nearly f ell. On top of that the maid didn't take trash from room the 2nd day and we had to track down clean towels. 3rd, NO maid whatsoever. People fighting, s someone skateboard up and down balcony at allhours. Not happy and will not stay here again, and I have to come down to Phoenix at least 4 more times in the next few months.
It was a nice hotel, we got there late and left early but got the rest we needed. Front desk clerk was extrememly helpful giving us directions on where we were going the next morning and even told us about good places to eat in the morning.
