My sister and I stayed in an all female dorm for two nights. This was our first stay at an American hostel. Rates were well-below hotel rates in the area. It was our first visit to Phoenix and the location of the hostel is phenomenal - within walking distance to downtown and there is a great southern flare diner only...

I stayed here three nights, and felt welcome right off the bat. The hostel has a really fun, and quirky atmosphere. There were quite a few international guests and international volunteers running the place, all of whom were incredibly pleasant and informative on what to do in the area, especially since this was my first time in Phoenix. I didn't...

I like the vibe of this hostel and how it's set up, very laid back and has a nice outside area for lounging. The accommodation is very basic. I stayed in the female dorm and there are small lockers available but not big enough to fit luggage. The breakfast is a good deal, pancakes and orange juice, eggs are also...

This place is old-style. Back to basics backpacking without being basic, reminded me very much of hostels in Africa - legit hostels. Even though it's nice to 'glamp' once in a while, it's also nice to go traditional. The staff were great, there was a shared BBQ on my first night (vegetarian burgers, also!) and there's basic breakfast as well....

This is a very cozy and atmospheric hostel with friendly staff. I went there 3 times and every time I stayed in another room. All of them were very clean. The staff was extremely helpful. I really liked the garden.

It has a cool vibe with clean rooms, easy street parking, and friendly staff. It is really well placed with a ton of interesting places to go within walking distance. My only criticism was the bathroom situation-there isn't a lot of privacy and the bathrooms/showers aren't gender specific.

Had a fantastic time at this hostel! Met so many great people from all over the world! Some people ended up arranging a barbecue for the evening and for $5 anyone could partake in the food. The also have a communal kitchen for anyone who wants to cook their own. They vibe was very friendly, family like and most all...

The location is wonderful, about 10 min walk from the metro station :-) and it is about 30 min metro ride from the airport. The staffs here are awesome, friendly and helpful!! I had a private room which is perfect for me because I had a very big luggage, so I think it is easier for me to have a...

The hostel is in a quiet residential area close to downtown and Roosevelt St. which is an awesome place to check out. Close by there's a nice restaurant Jo Bot, songbird tea and coffee house and a liquor store called the flowershop with artisan craft beer. You can't drink alcohol after ten and binging is not an option. The dorms...

Great quiet neighborhood location that's close to downtown, friendly staff, clean facilities, helpful people, and a great breakfast! I really enjoyed my stay here. Blankets, sheets, pillows all provided-so I was even overpacked. City was easy to navigate and there was a lot of stuff to do. The hostel itself even hosts a lot of events. Overall, I would definitely...

“The private room was super spacious, even with 4 people!”

“In my opinion there are only 2 acceptable bunks, one in each of the 2 dorms. Getting these will increase the liklihood of a good rest.”

“If it's a dorm take advantage of the free ear plugs. Makes a huge difference for a peaceful sleep! Sometimes they're not needed . If you are the super snorer maybe a private room would be considerate ?”

“If you enjoy playing guitar there are 3 of them there. One needed a new set of strings. I did not come across a music store in the city while there. If I had I would have picked up a set. Any guitar players heading down take a set of strings with you......thnx.”
