I had a very relaxing stay here at the pool. Very quiet, little exciting. The two owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Equipment of rooms is a bit worn as well as the majority of guests. Nevertheless, in your room you will find all things you may need during your stay. Curious: Here, the boss still works himself. That means...

The nicest clothing optional resort close to the centre of Phoenix. Yes, it is a gay resort, but the price is good and I haven't had any bad experiences there. The other clothing optional resort I stay at, is a long drive North and if you are in Phoenix for the attractions, this is a great place to stay. The...

I arrived in town for a conference a day early and decided to book a room here. I ended up with the bungalow suite in the middle of the property next to the pool. What luck! The weather was fantastic, i was able to enjoy the jacuzzi pool both at night and in the morning. So relaxing. The staff were...

My husband and I were looking for a gay place to spend the night as we traveled through Phoenix on our way to Palm Springs. We planned on visiting a friend for the and having dinner with him. Royal Villa was a nice clean friendly place to stay. We will definitely stay there again. The pool and jacuzzi were just...

I live here in Phoenix,AZ and found this hotel almost 6 years ago. I am a nudist male and sometimes going to the big naturist resorts can be costly. ...but for a small fee, a man straight (like myself) or gay may spend a better part of the day sunning & swimming. As a nudist, I'm happy to say that...

Centrally located in central Phoenix... Easy drive to meetings in Scottsdale. Convenient to great bars and restaurants... Many in walking distance. Owner present, engaged and hospitable. Friendly environment. Pool and hot tub wonderful. Grounds well maintained with desert landscape. Rooms well appointed and conducive to longer stays. These gay resorts are getting hard to come by... Glad to have found...

Just got back from my second stay at the Royal Villa. The place was a true oasis to just lay back for a week and let the world roll by. They were pretty much full booked for the entire time and most of the guests seemed to be regular return guests who were all most pleasant. The pool and hot...

Now I understand why this place has gotten some bad reviews ... I simply called to get information about a possible future stay. I was in the area visiting family and asked if I tour the facility. The owner (I assume) indicated that was not possible since it was clothing-optional and he didn't want people gawking at guests. I understood...

One of the cardinal rules about the hospitality industry is confidentiality. Respect goes hand in hand with that responsibility. Our guests and day passes pay for privacy. We do not do tours because of this. We have found that many a "tour" seeker is out for a cheap thrill and we will not subject our guests to this behavior. As...

This may be a bit late, since I stayed there in March 2014. Still one must give credit where it is due. Doug helped me find a room with a kitchen, and when I had an itinerary change he arranged to accomodate me an extra day. The grounds and rooms are beautifully kept and show true pride of ownership. The...

Had a very nice time, very quiet and relaxing. Some rules that seem a little over the top, but I think it is because they care. Not a bad place to stay while you are in Phoenix, friendly and close to downtown.
