Booked our room to get married on the patio back in late November. Today our photographer went to scout the property and notified us that the hotel was closed. Called the hotel and was told our reservation had been canceled and the property was closed until March. Our wedding is 3 days from now! Had to find another resort last minute. I cannot believe the Biltmore didn’t contact us to let us know. They even put in the notes we were getting married on our patio. Was offered a free night at a Hilton property in the future and told sorry for the inconvenience. Did not expect this level of incompetency and unprofessionalism from a resort of this caliber.
A very classy place to stay, relax and do business. The pools are a good size and each offers a nice bar nearby, some within a few steps of the water. The rooms are nice and quiet, well-stocked and maintained. The staff is friendly and went the extra mile, leaving a small treat for my wife and I when we returned from a shopping trip. Great food and shopping is nearby. If you don’t valet, there is a large parking garage near the entrance. The conference rooms in the business center are a good size and there is a small office supply store for last-minute needs, too. Here and throughout the center, staff is at-the-ready to assist when needed.
Stayed here March 2020 when coming to town for my daughter-in-laws bridal shower. Check in was nice and staff was exceptional. The property was under construction at some parts and it was a hike to get to parking garage. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Would stay here again when returning to Phoenix.
We picked the perfect place for our girls trip! It’s quite large, so if you don’t want to walk a lot, make sure you tell them to book your room close to the front. The pools are great & spacious. The food was wonderful & we enjoyed the history tour. The entire staff was very attentive & made us feel welcome. The rooms were comfortable, too. I would certainly stay here again!
We have reservations for a one-week vacation at this resort for October-including airfare to get there.. I just looked at their availability to see if better suites might be available since we first booked, and discovered that they are not open until November. I just happened to come across a one line description on Expedia. Nothing on the Waldorf Astoria Arizona Biltmore website. I see that if you try to book, the website is blocked until November. Glad I found out now! Why wouldn't a hotel chain -like Waldorf Astoria - contact folks who have reservations so they can make other plans? Why isn't there a note on the website? Bad move. Just thought everyone would want to know!
