We only stayed one night with 2 other couples in our group -- wish we had more days. Exceeded all expectations. Top class accommodations, wonderful breakfast, and the owners are excellent hosts & very interesting conversationalists.

Sometimes it all works out and this was a case of true serendipity. A beautiful place, lovingly restored with true charm, each room a world unto itself. We much enjoyed the La Patrona room with its view over the terrace to the valley and mountains beyond. Our hosts were gracious and attentive, breakfasts bountiful, surroundings gorgeous. We enjoyed exploring the...

Wonderful does not do this place justice but it is the best word we could come up with. We booked a bit late but Wendy and Phil worked with us and got us booked in 2 different rooms. Our 3 night stay included one night in the Duke and 2 nights in the La Patrona. It was perfect to experiance...

We just returned from three relaxing days at the Hacienda Corona de Guevavi. The room we stayed in was very pleasant (The Duke) and the bed was heavenly. After a hearty breakfast each day we took some walks, had a riding lesson, and relaxed by the pool and then our private patio area. The dark skies showed wonderful stars and...

What a find! Phil and Wendy are so at home in the ranch they are now running as a lovely B&B - and it shows! They couldn't be more welcoming or helpful. The breakfasts were all wonderful, each different, with creative use of SW food and spices and a toasty fire in the dining room. The rooms in the main...

Every aspect of this top-notch B&B surpassed our expectations. We stayed for three days in the well-appointed and very comfortable “Duke” suite, but other rooms we saw would have been equally pleasing. On top of that, we thoroughly enjoyed the elegant comfort of the many rooms open to guests, the beautiful grounds, the wonderful panoramic views, the absolutely delicious breakfasts,...

We asked a friend in Tucson to recommend where we should spend a couple of days to make a relaxing break before a demanding trade fair. The friend recommended the Hacienda Corona de Guevavi and it was everything we were seeking. Phil and Wendy provided a warm welcome and offered advice on where to go nearby. We resolved that next...

When we booked a 4 night stay at this out-of-they way B & B, we were merely looking for a base from which to explore southeast Arizona that would get us out of the city. Wow!! Were we ever surprised! When we first drove up - past the dried riverbed & the cows & tumbleweeds, we had serious doubts as...

This was my second trip to Hacienda Corona de Guevavi, and I hope I can go back again and again. There are few places to which I truly want to return, but this is one. The first trip was a long weekend in November; this trip was five days at Christmas a year later. The rooms are splendid; breakfast is...

I have been going to Nogales for years but, only ever planned a day trip because the hotels near the border are so mediocre. I was thrilled when a google search of hotels in the area led me to Haciena Corona. When we arrived we were more than excited by our surrounding. The Hacienda and the grounds were amazing. We...

“the Patron room is killer”

“We stayed in the La Patrona room, which seemed more like a palace by itself. The room is huge with a sitting area and a large field stone fireplace. We especially enjoyed our own double door entrance to the outdoors and the wall of glass facing the Santa Cruz river valley. The master bath is larger than a standard chain's bedroom!”
