This hidden gem in the foothills of Southern Arizona is one of the best kept secrets. The owners are amazingly hospitable, the grounds are so beautiful and the pool is exhilarating. I have had the pleasure of staying here in all four seasons to truly enjoy all that this wonder place has to offer. The John Wayne room and Meanwhile...

We love this place! It's so relaxing and beautiful. Nisa and Jeff tell the best stories, the food was delicious and they truly made us feel right at home. We loved the peace and quiet and the time we could spend together. We stayed in the casita so we wouldn't disturb other guests. It was perfect for us. The sun...

My family and I (my wife, 2 daughters, and dog) spent a fantastic afternoon and night at Hacienda Corona and were THRILLED with both the property and the owners. The home is a historic icon with beautiful period touches, exciting history (John Wayne was a regular!), and amazing grounds. As you wind around the house you find beautifully appointed rooms,...

This is a work in progress resort, quiet areas for conversation, VERY comfortable beds, old, old charm, out in the middle of nowhere, just where I like it! There is a great music room, great history and a kitchen that we both used and were fed out of. The owner and staff were very friendly. We used it as a...

Back in the day, Hollywood aristocrats like John Wayne came here as private guests As you step out of the parched desert landscape into the lush plant-filled court yard, you know why. When Mike and Nisa break out the wine and start telling you stories about horses, and movie stars and Mexican history, you'll forget where you came from and...

The Hacienda Corona de Guevavi is a real piece of the authentic old west. How often do you get to stay in a real hacienda that is over a century old? It was neat to walk in through the entrance, not into a standard hotel lobby, but into the original central courtyard filled with murals showing village life on market...

“We stayed in the La Patrona room, which seemed more like a palace by itself. The room is huge with a sitting area and a large field stone fireplace. We especially enjoyed our own double door entrance to the outdoors and the wall of glass facing the Santa Cruz river valley. The master bath is larger than a standard chain's bedroom!”
