Travelling on business to Phoenix I encountered this gem just south of Flagstaff. It looked inviting and very quaint, even in the dusk of the Arizona night. The proprietors were just returning from shopping and greeted me with a friendly smile. I felt at home right away. They checked me into a nearby room in their rustic looking Motel and,... More

We found this place by accident and what a lifesaver! Our family was driving from Houston to Vegas/California and stopped enroute. It was about 2 a.m. as we climbed into the mountains surrounding Flagstaff. It was snowing and growing even colder as we got higher. We knew we wanted to stop somewhere but hadn't planned appropriately. We are not accustomed... More

We have family who vacation in Munds Park so Motel in the Pines is super convenient and cheap. The family staff who run the place were very nice. The sheets and towels were refreshed whenever we asked. Little problems like a dripping faucet were corrected the next day. The walls had been recently painted but the carpet needs to be... More

Based on the TA reviews I read, I was fairly confident all would be well, and it was. The proprietor/owner was very friendly. Our room had double queens and was large and comfortable. It was very quiet in room 207, clean, comfortable. It is a 2-story property without an elevator; in great condition. I would stay again without blinking an... More

Was looking for someplace to stay that was not right in Flagstaff on our way to the Canyon. Price was right. Booked through hotelcoupons.com. Was able to sleep with the windows open. Fresh air. Room was dated, especially the bathroom. 3" foam on an older bed made for a great sleep, pillows were good too. The streets are rolled up... More

I base must of my reviews based on the difference between my expectations and what I actually find. In this case I read the reviews before hand. I knew it was an older place in a very quiet area. That was kind of what I was looking for. Pros : If you get a room close to the office the... More

This place was filthy filthy! Every place in the room! The microwave had food stuck on the roof and sides; sink and stove dirty; floors not swept ( Cherrios still on the floor); mouse bate behind stove; lint and dust in the vents of the heaters and air conditioner; no battery in the smoke detector; rust in the bathroom cabinet;... We didn't want to stay in Sedona. We found this little motel a clean and comfortable place to stay. Close to the fantastic Ponderosa pine woods and the friendly locals at the bar across the street. The simple post office takes you back to the 60's. As previously mentioned, a bit dated but the staff is friendly and helpful. We... More

My wife and I with our toddler son stayed here for one night when driving from the Grand Canyon to Phoenix. When arriving at 10 pm it was somewhat difficult to find but during the day it certainly isn't as difficult. I was tired after several hours of driving but the gentleman at the check in desk was very welcoming.... More

Room was nice a little old and dated but clean and comfortable. The hotel's location was just off the freeway and it was very quiet and country feeling. Owners were very accommodating and helpful they were ready for us when we arrived. It's not a five-star hotel but it is a very good place to spend the night on the... More
