Sinalei Reef Looks like an expensive resort should, beautiful grounds, lush palm trees, wooden entrance hall. It stops there. Everything is just a little bit off. From being asked 'are you all alone?' 'Where is your boyfriend?' and 'just by yourself?' by at least three male staff in the space of breakfast to the less offensive loud laughing by the...

I have been meaning to write this review for a few weeks since we left Sinalei but we jumped right over to New Zealand and have finally had time. We stayed at Sinalei from Jan13-20th 2017. This place was somewhere you could only dream of. It's hard to believe that a place like this still exists. The food and service...

My husband and I have just returned from Sinalei Reef Resort and Spa and would love to return there again one day. On arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful oceanview suite just steps to the beach. The suite was spacious and decorated with a distinctive Samoan flavour. The air conditioning was a godsend at night when trying to escape...

We could not find anything wrong with this place. We really had the most enjoyable experience. We stayed in a garden bungalow, which the Owner explained over a drink is the origianl accommodation of the resort. The room is spacious and bright with good aircon. The toilet had a bit of a funny smell but it was truly beautiful with...

We stayed at Sinalei Resort between 23-28 December 2016. the resort itself is lovely, the fales are perfectly fine and we were lucky enough to have a beachfront fale which was perfect and very comfortable. The tropical gardens are gorgeous as is the beach and lagoon. The resort itself on the East Coast of the island which seemed to get...

We have just returned home after a lovely, relaxing 12 day stay at Sinalei and WOW is how I would best describe the resort! On arrival into Samoa we were picked up at the airport by Sinalei staff and transported to the resort - the drive goes quite quick (approximately 40mins) but you forget about the time as there is...

There was no driver to pick us up at the airport despite a confirmation so we got a taxi, which turned out fine. Check in was fine, but we were surprised to be taken on a tour of the resort before being shown to our room, as some people will have travelled many hours to get here, and it was...

Talofa! Thank you very much for an awesome and heart-warming review! We do our best to keep that Samoan friendly and hospitable culture in tact while facing the challenges of modernization. It's sometimes difficult to balance the two when dealing with guests' comfort. We are glad that you had a lovely time here at Sinalei and hope that you will...

My wife and I did have a nice time and it ticks a lot of boxes. Nice pool, nice rooms, good golf course for a resort and yes the staff are very loveable. There is no doubt about it. However, for the price you pay it seems to come up short. You feel like you are at the Pacific Fawlty...

Talofa! Thank you for your review and feedback. We are happy that you had a nice time here at Sinalei. We understand how you might have found the Samoan laid back culture frustrating at times. We do our best to hire staff from the local villages and training them can be challenging. As you realized, they are very friendly and...
