We stayed for 5 days and there were 45 family members. I'm glad that breakfast was part of the package as the food and drink prices at the hotel are expensive. It's a pity that there is no buffet dinner as we had to go outside the complex to eat. You do have an option to order off a menu... More

Talofa Loren We are glad that we were able to provide and cater for your family and that breakfast, the bar the pool and staff were a highlight of your stay. I'm happy your iPod was located but would also like to point out that the most common item left behind in hotels are phone and mobile device chargers. Our... More

This hotel is the best in Apia. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and modern. The bath products are cruelty free, which is a big plus for me. The grounds lovely with traditional Samoan touches throughout. The continental breakfast included with the room is much more substantial than the other hotels I stayed at in Samoa. The restaurant's food was... More

Upon arriving to Tusitala, our school trip - Waitakere College Samoan Language Senior classes and Samoan Group 2015 - fell in love with the hotel straight away. Awesome rooms, spacious and very homely. The service from the staff, day in day out, especially with teenagers for 9 days at Hotel, was of high standard. Our students were in awe of... More

My work takes me around the world staying in 5 and more rated star hotels. I always find myself comparing these hotels to Tanoa Tusitala Hotel of Western samoa....the environment, customer service, F&B and housekeeping, none comes close to making you feel at home like the Tanoa. A home away from home.

I've stayed at the Tusitala now for ten week-long work trips spread out over two years. The transport is reliable, the staff are kind and capable, and my rooms have always been wonderfully clean. The woodcarving artwork around the grounds is incredible. The beer is cold, the pool is refreshing, and the mini gym really gets the job done too.... More

Made sure we checked out the bar here for cocktails - boy were they good! Great service and fantastic setting by the pool. Didnt get a chance to try the food but lots of customers seemed happy with meals dining beside us! loved it here and will definitely aim to stay next time we are in Samoa.

The Tanoa was lovely for our family for our first island holiday. We wanted a bit of comfort and this worked out perfectly for us. I've stayed here a few times in the recent past, typically for one or so weeks at a time.
