One of the best places I stayed in if short on budget while travelling around Savai'i. We were really taken care of there, breakfast was great and we were granted one of the best fales near the beach. The beaches there was probably one of the best for swimming around the island, kayaks accessible and nice spots for relaxation. We...

Amazing little location for some R&R on the north side of Savai'i. Jane's fales are cheap, cheerful and comfortable accommodation, with beach front views and easy access to the lagoon. We organised quite a few activities through local businesses close to Jane's, fishing charters, snorkelling trips, massages etc. Lovely spot to really relax, and so good for your soul! The...

Best place we stayed at in Savai. The shower/toilet wasn't good, but the experience made it all good. You can rent snorkeling gear (20 tala) and a kayak here (40 tala). There is also a good bar, where you can drink coctails and beer (5 tala for beer, 15 tala for coctail). The fales were on the grass, just before...

Open-air fales with the beach and lagoon a couple of metres from your doorstep and nothing to do in a day but eat, sleep and snorkel. What a fantastic spot! Simple food and basic accommodation, but utterly charming.

My family have visited Jane's fales for 1 week every year since 2008 (unfortunately we missed last years visit) Accommodation is not the really old traditional Samoan Fales with open sides as walls have been added to give the guests a little privacy(ease the culture chock). I usually sleeps outside on the patio to feel the breeze from the sea,...

With absolutely stunning views I highly recommend the beach fales. Some people may say that it can do with a renovation but I absolutely love the rustic feel of Janes Beach fales. I took my family and we absolutely loved it and highly recommend it to families

Janes Beach Fales @ Manase, SAVAII would have to be THE best in SAVAII. The beach here is fantastic, white sand, crystal clear warm water and clean beach - no dirty seaweed etc. The fales here are basic but comfortable. The 3 self contained units are really great, clean, comfortable and most importantly lockable. I regularly stay here for 2...

so I read the reviews on here before heading to Savaii for a few days with my partner, and lets be honest if your expecting to pay next to nothing then expect the not so glamorous 5 star treatment. We stayed at Janes for 2 nights and yes it was basic, run down blah blah blah if you wanted all...

This was our 3rd visit to Janes. It will be our last! Over the years we have seen the place deteriorate. Some staff worked hard to serve us. Others were blase and apathetic. Food quality deteriorated when the usual cook was away. Cold canned spaghetti for breakfast was the ultimate insult (served twice). Surely the fact that it was not...

After spending 4 nights in Apia, my family of 7 decided to head off to the wonderful island of Savai'i to chill and wind down from all the hustle and bustle of the city. We arrived to Jane's and we're greeted with open arms, white sands, crystal clear beach and a nice cold beer. Like a lot of people I...
