We spent a night on Namu'a Island and were spoilt to be the only tourists on the island apart from one other young couple. The trip to the island in the dingy was spectacular as the ocean is a stunning aqua blue and so clear that we could see turtles. The island is not far by boat but is remote....

They offer a day trip or overnight stay in one of their fales on the island. A day trip is 40 Tala + 15 Tala if you go for lunch. Overnight stay is 120 Tala with dinner and breakfast included. Fales are really basic and so is the food, a lot of meat and we as vegetarians didn't really enjoy...

A dinghy takes you across to the island, about a 10 minute ride, costing 40 tala per person, 55 tala including lunch. Our group of 10 spent a beautiful sunny afternoon there, snorkelling and swimming. There is a walking trail to the top of the island but our group didn't do the walk as the trail was made muddy from...

Loved this. Perfect romantic day. You can get taken out to the island on a little boat for about 40 tala, chill in your own fale for the day. Swim, snorkel round looking for green turtles. Some people did see these. For us we saw about 5 from the boat. Take your own snorkelling gear as it is not provided....

This island will appeal to a variety of people for different reasons. It has a pretty beach with fales for shelter and basic toilet and shower facilities. For us the beauty and magic was on the far side of the island. You need good footwear, sun protection and water to do the complete trip around the island and also a...

I visited Namua for a day and had such an amazing time there. There is no electricity which gives a nice break - all you can do is really to relax and enjoy the beauty of the island. The staff is really friendly and the food is amazing! Definitely a must if you're in Samoa!

We spent only one day and night on the island. Too short for this little paradise. We shared the food (breakfast and dinner) with the family on the island and the others guests, it was excellent! We saw a green turtle on the way back to the coast. Nature was fantastic, with flying foxes, endangered species hidden on one tree...

We spent a lovely day on this island enjoying the quiet, relaxing on the beach, snorkelling and swimming with a sea turtle. Nice clean toilets and showers and friendly staff would make this a lovely place to stay a while I think.

This is paradise on earth! More what you expect from the pacific. Food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was good. Nature was fantastic. We saw a sea turtle on the way to the island. After sunset the staff left the island and we were there with another couple. We had a fantastic evening. After dark all the giant crabs come to...
