An exquisite hacienda style hotel in the clouds! Beautifully appointed rooms in both the home and additional buildings. Beautiful antiques, stunning views, gorgeous gardens and delicious food all added to a wonderful stay. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly!

If your taste runs to dining and sleeping in the clouds - near the slope of slumbering Tungarahua Volcano - amid manicured blooming gardens - enclosed by walls hung with 25-century-old genuine artifacts - - - this is a "must visit!" And if your taste runs otherwise, visit it anyway. Excellent service. Excellent food. Sufficient feather beds to ward off...

A beautiful hacienda and grounds. Fernando, the manager, personally took us on a guided tour of their gardens and orchard. He answered all our questions and was justifiably proud of the hacienda. The food was great. The rooms in the older building were comfortable although there was a problem with hot water that they immediately dealt with. To top it all...

Everything about this hacienda was amazing. The grounds are beautiful, with lots of trees and flowers and animals. The meals were great and it was very quiet and beautiful: just wanted I needed for a little city escape! It got chilly at night, but we had a heater that was provided and it did the trick. Also nice warm blankets...

Vey much enjoyed our one-night stay at this home located in the mountains west of Patate. Even though it was misty during our stay, the views into the steep valley were memorable. Although the rooms weren't spectacular, they had nice touches with carved headboards and antiques. The living room and dining room were beautiful and provided the impression of being...

This B&B is very intriguing in the mountains at the foot of a volcano. We were with Gate 1 tour of Ecuador. This was the last hotel of our tour before returning to Quito. It was the least liked of all hotels by most of our group. The rooms were cold, either the fireplaces they couldn't get started or the...

We only had one night here with a group. The rooms vary. We had a cozy king in the main house with a view of the volcano that was hard to enjoy at night because the outside lights are on all night. The food was decent. Beds were comfortable but for some reason we didn't sleep at all that night....

This hotel is nestled in the Mountains outside of Patate. Beware it is not close to Banos! It is long 30 minute drive to Banos, There is no other place to eat close by. The food is very good here and based on local fresh produce. Great wine selection at a great price. The rooms are absolutely beautiful! My only...

Fernando, the manager, goes out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable. The food was great, the view was spectacular and the rooms (we stayed in one of the newer buildings) was quite comfortable. The flashlights they left on our nightstands was a nice touch.
