Stayed here a few times. About a 20 minute walk into town, mostly got a cab.You can cook something on the stove provided as just buy a few ingredients for brekky. Just wasnt happy staying in the house so asked for the apartment at the back with mezzanine floor for bedroom. However, having said that would stay here again as people nice, and easy going. Seems to be quite booked out at times.

We stayed here for four nights. We booked self catering. When we arrived there was no one in attendance. After some waiting a taxi turned up that had been sent to collect us from the airport however they hadn't told us a taxi would be sent. Outside was scruffy with litter, unclipped grass and dog excrement on the drive that wasn't cleaned up whilst we were there. Apartment turned out to be on the next street. Once inside it was just about adequate but the kitchen lacked equipment and the place needed a deep clean. However in the back yard was a dog whose excrement was never cleaned up. I mentioned this and it was explained that the yard was the responsibility of another person. Location is above a family house and you could hear them through thin walls. I would not recommend it. We only stayed as my husband was ill. In short a lot rough around the edges. That said, David, the assistant there was helpful.

It all started at arrival at the address indicated by the booking confirmation. There was nobody there. We waited for several minutes and rang the bell multiple times but nobody came to help us. There was no note informing of the absence. We went around the building and thought to ask the neighbours, they appeared to be also guests and tried to call the hotel owner without luck. When we started to leave to come back later the owner finally arrived, excusing himself and saying there was an emergency. Could be offcourse. The appartement was not at the place that we were so we had to walk another block. No big deal offcourse but luggage transfer would have been nice for that price. To summarise, we weren't happy with the following things of the appartement: - waaaaaaay overpriced - terrible bed, absolutely terrible, we stayed 4 nights and never slept well. 2 months in south America and this was the worst bed yet. (even the bed in the salt hotel on tour of salar de Uyuni was better! - street full of dogs (more then i was used to while travelling around argentina), dogs make lots of noice at night! This is the case for the front side of the building as well as the back side! - you do not hear the neighbours until 23:00, then they appear to wake up and start a party with children screaming and crying. It all stops at around 2-3AM when they go back to sleep. - bathroom is ok except the shower and the valves. Impossible to fully close the valves or set a decent pressure / temperature. The shower is maybe 40cm wide with a dirty shower curtain. - kitchen looks ok at first because it has all the appliances but laks the hand tools necessairy and some basic ingredients like salt and pepper, again for that price... The can opener was broken, we told the owner and he would bring us another one the day after.... We never saw him again - the booking confirmation said we had to pay at check in, we went to some trouble getting the cash and at check in it appeared to be impossible for him to accept payment, we asked him to come the day after, that went ok except we never got a receipt - the owner would be there at check out 10AM, we had to catch a flight so we really needed to go not long after, he didn't show up..
