The Albatros hotel has a very central location in Ushuaia. The room was large, warm, clean and comfortable. There was free WIFI throughout the hotel and the included breakfast was basic but OK. We would stay at this hotel again

My father and I stayed here for 1 night, prior to boarding a cruise to Antarctica. The location of the hotel is great - it's very close to the main street of shops and restaurants, and one block from the port. The hotel itself is just so-so. The internet is unreliable, the beds are lacking, and the restaurant (we only...

Right across the road from the port, so very easy getting onto ship for Antartctica trip. Room good, clean, no issues. Just wifi is very hit & miss, otherwise has ok breakfast. Too many pastries for my liking, but has the basics of continental plus eggs. One of the girls at the front desk was a bit annoying, as not very...

Our stay at the Albatros was very good. The area was close to the Main Street of Ushuaia and there was a restaurant right next to the hotel which served nice food. The rooms were also very clean and tidy. Many functions ( cruises to Antarctica etc.) were held there so it was also very convenient.

I wanted somewhere warm with good wifi, something to eat and drink and I found it very close to the cruise ship dock in Ushuaia. I sat for several hours drinking tea then delicious fries with aoili and really nice Argentinian wine. The wait staff didn't speak English but I used google to translate and they understood my order.

We stayed here for new years and had to change one room with a really loud leaky toilet to another room that smelled. The worst part was however the hotel staff did not tell us upon check in (or even hinted at that fact) that most restaurants and all stores close for new year's eve. The streets that night were...

Lovely hotel in the town center. Easy walk to restaurants and attractions. The staff is multilingual and friendly. Prepare to be welcomed with a big smile at the front desk. There are 3 lounge areas with generous seating, power outlets, and one with a TV and 3 desktop computers. The hotel rooms are comfortable, and the bathrooms have modern fixtures....

Dinner day we arrive, group of 32 persons. They served "chorizo" and that is claimed to be the best grilled or roasted meat. No luck...apparently what they served was reheated, dry like sole. Most of my travllers companions refused to eat. No alternative was offered. Next morning no fresh bread or fruit on breakfast

We were starting on a Cruise the next day so needed a place for one night. The cruise lines, Quark Expeditions, had spread the 180 folks over 3-4 hotels in the area. Others may have been nicer or newer but they were only reachable by bus. The Albatross was right in the heart of town (which is basically one street...
