The location is up the hill from the center, which makes walking back to the hotel difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The building is modest and old, with spare furnishings. Our rooms were not upgraded, but clean and functional. Beds are firm, as are the foam pillows. Definitely not a luxury facility. However, the modesty of the facility is compensated by the very friendly, generous, and accommodating service of the owner, who went out of his way to help us with transportation, storage of baggage until we left for a late-afternoon flight, etc.

We stayed in a 4 bed room (2 bunk beds). Beds were good and clean. Room was big enough for the 3 of us. There was a table with 3 chairs, a big fridge, a real oven, 4 stoves. Plates and cutlery were a bit limited when you want to have a proper meal. The bathroom is ok. Towels are provided and changed everyday with some mini soaps. Wifi is ok, not very fast. Breakfast is provided in the room close to the reception. It consists in coffee/tea/milk/juice with a basket of sweet croissant and bread with some jam and butter. It is located 15-20 min walk from the main street (Maipu). Overall it is a good and comfortable budget option with everything you need.

The Staff of this hotel, (especially Ricardo!) proved to be reliable and extremely helpful when we were in need. Along with having an excellent view, and keeping a clean and organized business, i would recommend this establishment.

We stayed here for 2 nights in January , and the owners are kind and helpful, the apartments spacious, warm and comfortable with excellent views of the Beagle Channel. It is quite a long uphill walk from the main town , so be prepared for that, also there is not much for breakfast - just tea and toast , but with a kitchenette and frige you can always get your own. It was only a bit more expensive than the rather too basic Hostel accross the road, and so much better !
