We really loved our stay at this hotel; the owner does not speak much English, but was very friendly and helpful. The room was really nice and breakfast excellent. I am surprised at the poorer reviews, but I suspect this is because other guests are not experienced in travelling South America. As far as South American Hotels go, this is...

Room was comfortable, bed good but windows don't open so it is hard to adjust for the heating. Good lounge areas through this place, so some nice places to sit. Our stay included continental breakfast, which was fairly basic. (Lots of signs about not packing your lunch from it - seemed a bit strange). Location was ok for us. Yes...

The hostel is too far away from Ushuaia center (i.e. 1 km on top of hills of the San Francisco's style) and the restaurants (there is no food and no drinks available neither in the Hotel nor nearby). The room is too small for a kingsize bed and it is difficult to accomodate a couple of suitcases. There is no...

I cannot think a better place to stay at "fin del mundo". Ask for the room 5, that with a small balcony at the south east corner. The view is really one of the best. I would rather not go to sleep because I would not spare a minute of my life not simply staring at the endless sky, clouds,...

We spent 3 nights here. The rooms were small and not particularly well equipped. we had great dificulty in getting a bed light which worked in the second of the rooms we used. On arrival our reception was off-hand and unwelcoming. Ushuaia is on a steep hill and Jarke is quite a way from the restaurants and attractions of the...

I stayed here for three nights at the end of a two week group trip to Patagonia. The tour company chose the hotel. Situated three blocks up the hill from the end of the main city centre it has great views across the Beagle Channel to the Chilean island of Navarino. Got to see some wonderful sunsets Well maintained, homely,...

Narrow single beds, room too hot and couldn't find any controls to turn it off, further from town centre than most (10 mins walk) so why not pick one closer, no currency exchange available (Hotel Antartida is one of the very few that does change money), bill was more than rate card on reception desk, hotel credit card machine didn't...

He stayed two nights in this hotel. The hotel itself is quite OK, but the rooms are very small. You have no chance to open two luggage at the same time. The location is OK but around 15 mintues walk from the center. The biggest issue was the service. I have forgotten something in our room. It took them three...

We stayed 4 nights before and after our Antarctic cruise. Pros - cool common area - decent breakfast - nice view from the rooms we stayed in - good wifi but wifi in area 1 much better in area 2 Cons - located up a slope - requires a little walking upslope to reach - could use more staff who...

this hotel, offered great scenic views, good location, services, breakfast, and atmosphere, the rooms were a bit noisy due to wooden flooring, and staff did not speak any other language apart from a sort of spanish, but overall good.
