We checked in pretty late, but friendly staff was there to greet us. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. We were most impressed with the helpful staff who tried to help us with booking taxis and answering our questions. We have stayed in other properties in Chile/Argentina on our trip and this was one of our favorites.

This is a good hotel, well situated. Close to most restaurant yet far from the main noisy road. Breakfast is mediocre and coffee could be better. The only (small) issue was with the music the receptionist kept on. We could hear the music thru the floor (room 202) and despite telling him, he didn't stop it. I would say it...

From the absolutely gorgeous wooden floors, the large and sunny guest rooms, the warm and comfortable parlors, the wonderful breakfasts an the superb professional staff, the Patagonia Queen is as though she is from a bygone era - one of unpretentious elegance. As a guest you feel pampered at every turn. Heated bathroom floors, oversized plush towels and beds that...

As beautiful as the pictures. Breakfast is the best in Patagonia. Owner is an ultra runner and a sweet man. Absolutely delightful room and stay. Frosted beer mugs at the bar. Play pool in the evening. Lovely well maintained gardens. Just a truly relaxing hotel.

Close to the town center, this hotel has all the charm you would hope for back in the States. Wood decor, comfortable beds, relaxing parlor and a cozy bar to top off the night. Breakfast was a little sparse but you can ask for eggs. We would definitely stay here again.

The Patagonian Queen is located just off the main drag in a convenient but quiet location with a comfortable bar and lounge area at the front and south facing views across countryside at the back. Our room was very comfortable with beautiful wooden flooring, stone effect tiling in the bathroom and everything you need including a jacuzzi which was extremely...

The first and probably the most important thing when arriving somewhere new is the welcome and the one we received at this Hotel was first rate. Throughout the two night stay the staff were excellent. The hotel itself is comfortable with small but clean rooms. The breakfast is extensive and the scrambled eggs were great. It's other selling point is...

Such a lovely property with an excellent staff and superb service. Great position for an easy walk to main centre of the town, and pick up on the bus route for the glacier trip. If I am lucky enough to return to El Calafate I would definitely return to stay at the Patagonian Queen.

Very nice hotel with a winderful staff. Breakfast is very good. Just a few minutes walk from the main downtown area. I'd gladly stay here again. Highly recommended. Thete is an issue with the TVs not working, but who wants to watch TV anyway? Love it!

we traveled during the shoulder season at end of september and felt like we were the only people staying at this hotel -- not sure why because it was a great stay and the guy who checked us in was super nice and helpful (gave recommendations on where to book tours, etc). it is not super central in the middle...
