The Patagonian Queen is located just off the main drag in a convenient but quiet location with a comfortable bar and lounge area at the front and south facing views across countryside at the back. Our room was very comfortable with beautiful wooden flooring, stone effect tiling in the bathroom and everything you need including a jacuzzi which was extremely... More

The first and probably the most important thing when arriving somewhere new is the welcome and the one we received at this Hotel was first rate. Throughout the two night stay the staff were excellent. The hotel itself is comfortable with small but clean rooms. The breakfast is extensive and the scrambled eggs were great. It's other selling point is... More

Such a lovely property with an excellent staff and superb service. Great position for an easy walk to main centre of the town, and pick up on the bus route for the glacier trip. If I am lucky enough to return to El Calafate I would definitely return to stay at the Patagonian Queen.

Very nice hotel with a winderful staff. Breakfast is very good. Just a few minutes walk from the main downtown area. I'd gladly stay here again. Highly recommended. Thete is an issue with the TVs not working, but who wants to watch TV anyway? Love it!

we traveled during the shoulder season at end of september and felt like we were the only people staying at this hotel -- not sure why because it was a great stay and the guy who checked us in was super nice and helpful (gave recommendations on where to book tours, etc). it is not super central in the middle... This hotel ticked many boxes. A small well-presented boutique hotel that will give you a comfortable stay at affordable rates. What makes it a standout are the little extras the owner has included. Our room may be standard size but was clean and comfortable. The heated floor in the bathroom was great particularly for cold mornings. The common spaces (lounge... More

My family and I stayed here in two different rooms and it was the best hospitality we've received from any hotel we've stayed in, ever. The staff were friendly and personable, and was extra catering to all of our needs. We would come back in a heartbeat. The rooms, lobby, eating area are all look new, clean and spotless. The... Our room was quiet and comfortable and the bathroom was better than many, with a small Jacuzzi as part of the bath. The room was of average size for a double room. A safe, TV and Wi-Fi were part of the deal, as was a mini bar. The laundry service offered good value. Breakfast was of a good standard and... More

Heated floors in the bathroom are just the start of how nice this hotel is. Excellent front desk and the owner is actively involved and it shows. Great breakfast is included. They have a very comfortable lobby and free Wi-Fi.

To our surprise when we arrived (booked through a travel company), we were told our room was upgraded. It was extremely spacious with a large sitting area including two chairs and a large round table. Bed very comfortable. The Hotel itself seems a bit dated (dark wood paneling, somewhat dim lighting in the hallway which is triggered by a motion... More
