We stayed here for 1 night and checked out the next morning. Whilst the people were extremely welcoming when we arrived, this did not make up for the terrible night's sleep. Our room (number 5) was extremely small (no floor space once we'd put our rucksacks down). The room was absolutely boiling and the bed was far too soft. We...

I had modest expectations for Sir Thomas (based on reviews and the low price relative to other options), but our stay was fantastic. All the staff were extremely welcoming and booked our glacier tour for us. The kitchen and common areas are excellent. Our room was small and basic, but that was what we were expecting, so no complaints there....

Overall, I found the location convenient, the communal areas (dining area, lounge, game room, kitchen) clean and comfortable and the staff not only welcoming but incredibly helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. After getting off the 6pm bus from El Chalten I wandered on down to Sir Thomas hostel around 9 and...

We had a really vood experience in Sir Thomas Hostel, the room and bathroom were really nice, there is also a nice lounge area to stay and wifi working properly. Leila was really kind with us and helped us a lot with information, excursions, timetable, etc. She was really kind and always helpfull. I could highly recommend it.

Dirty, extremly noisy, dusty, overpriced. We seriously did not understand why it had such an 'oke' overall recommendation. We almost did not have any sleep because of the noise comming out of the other rooms. Did not have this experience at all in the other places we stayed during our 3 weeks travel in Argentine (comparable prices).

Ok basic place but nothing impressive. The location is fine in relation to the main street. Staff do not speak English, but they try to help when we ask for information. The room is old and the bathroom is worn and without heat. The bed is worn out and has taken shape after previous guests. Another time I would pay...

We stayed here for 3 nights in February and it was not the most comfortable hostels we've ever been to. The location is very good, as you're a couple of streets away from the main street in town. The staff were friendly and helpful - they will make an effort even if you don't speak much Spansih. Breakfast is quite...

The good points about this hostel are the location (just a 5 minute walk into town) and the staff who are very friendly & will help you arrange trips. Most of the staff speak little to no English (our problem for having little to no Spanish!), but we were able to speak on the phone with one of the off-duty...

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights and it was a great experience. The staff was extremely helpful in giving us tips on tours and where to visit with our rental car. It is walking distance to lots of restaurants. The rooms are clean and there is a little lounge area where you can chat and lounge. Although I...
