What this hotel lacks in bling it certainly makes up for in genuine country style hospitality. I have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone wanting to stay in El Calafate. Staff were helpful, food was great....all in all, a very enjoyable stay.

The rooms are comfortable ande well- equipped and the setting is wonderful. The history of the place will surprise you. The food served is excellent both for breakfast and dinner. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Agustina, the owner, was always there to help and give the best suggestions for excursions.I have never felt so well taken care. It would...

First of all the positives: We had a very nice room: large and clean. It was at the far end of the corridor upstairs and had a window on both sides of the room. I suspect it is the biggest room in the hotel, but I didn't see any others. The bathroom, though, was tiny and the shower drained very...

For the record, we made the most of our time here and had a great stay in El Calafate. Patagonia Rebelde was built to look like a traditional estancia, and it has charm and is certainly an adequate place to stay. The staff is friendly & helpful, it's a short walk to "downtown," and the rooms are small but they...

How small: figure out 1 meter (3 feet) on 3 sides of a queen size bed to move around, with a very small and rudimentary bathroom. Totally unacceptable except for young backpackers on a strict budget. To go to town, which is 15 minutes away, you have to walk on a muddy dirt road for 250 yards to then get...

We arranged a two night stay in El Calafate so that we could visit the Perito Moreno Glacier. This was organised through a Scottish company, Andean Trails. Patagonia Rebelde is a lovely place to stay and is full of quirky memorabilia. The included breakfast was delicious. They also offer restaurant service most nights and the food was very nice and...

very nice decoration, countryside vibe. excelent staff. excelent restaurant for 1 dinner. nice breakfast. good location, walking distance from downtown. overall very nice. the only thing is that the building is old. despite very well maintained, sound isolation is very poor and room size is small.

a bit of a walk to the town where the restaurants etc. are located. We were well received. A very old fashioned look and feel. The room is tiny, the bathroom is even smaller which looks terrible with exposed pipes and cramped toilet, you have to let them know and hour in advance if you want to adjust the temperature...

A relatively small hotel, more fittingly a lodge... But very friendly, and very amenable.. They serve dinner, which is great as we arrived very late on 2 occasions, but don't expect too much in terms go quality... Access is a little weird, road leading to the hotel is not quite paved yet.. It's just outside the main town which is...
