good location, not right in town, but a quick walk. We upgraded to a room with a view, nice view of the lake but not great. It's a bit of a distance. Decent room size, good bath. Breakfast brunch was good. Good selection.

The town of El Calefate is quaint and middle European in nature with flower boxes and strolling tourists....except for the window displays of roasting lamb on a skewer. Don't miss the glacier walk if you haven't been on one.

I chose this hotel because i liked the photos of the rooms and its restaurant. Sometime the photos are deceptive, but not in this case. The hotel turned to be as cozy and nice as it was on the pictures. We were given the room with a window we could see the Lago (the upgrade I didn't expect), the room...

Extremely comfortable hotel with friendly staff that were helpful throughout our stay from check-in to checkout. There is a gentleman called Carlos who is Pep Guardiola's twin. Carlos is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He provided useful advice and was friendly. The breakfast was of a high standard and also catered for my daughter who has a gluten allergy. Wonderful touch....

It is very memorable to think of a place where I used to visit when I was young with my parents since my mother does really love the place, El Calafate of Argentina. And this Hotel is the main Reason to provide a private family time with my elder parents. I would say it is peaceful and I do satisfy...

Stayed here for 2 nights. The second floor rooms facing the lake are probably the best rooms. Although the lake is at a distance, nevertheless the view was good. Rooms were very comfortable, room numbers 501 and 502 are interconnecting and have a beautiful balcony too. Breakfast was decent with an assortment of cereals, breads, pastries, fruits, plus yogurt, cheese,...

Only the front rooms have views of the lake but it is quite far away to see details. But as we left early in the morning to go to the glacier it didn't matter. Easy walk to the town for the restaurants and shops. A great place to visit nearby is the bird sanctuary with many species of birds close...
