One of the stops on the Backroads hiking tour of Patagonia is this remote, near-lakeside location with a half-dozen cottages (each with 4 rooms), a central gathering/dining place and another building with museum and dining spot. Accessible only by water, it was peaceful and a good spot to take hikes to spectacular views of the nearby glaciers. Very friendly staff....

The Estancia Cristina Lodge is a remarkable hotel! It is comfortably nestled between the Andes and glaciers in the Argentinian Patagonia. It is a place you must try if you're in the area for a number of days. There is great hiking, horseback riding, glacier views, food, and just plain relaxing if that's what you want!

Estancia Cristina is the perfect blend between an upscale experience, and a remote getaway. Guests enjoy 5-star services, and clean comfortable cottages. Excellent meals, and daily activities are included within the stated price. However this experience takes place within a small remote facility which is accessible only by boat. The resident Gaucho will take guests out on horseback excursions, and...

Lodge was wonderful- cannot beat the surroundings and activities. Remarkable hikes and vistas. Accommodating staff. Loved that it's small and cannot accommodate lots of people- makes the experience all that more special. Food was average, but the rest of the experience overshadowed that shortcoming! Would return in a heartbeat

We were originally scheduled to stay at the Estancia for three nights but our departure was delayed by one day due to strong winds on Lago Argentino. It's good to know that your reservation may be delayed or cancelled due to weather/wind. We had a great time at the Estancia. The staff, food, and scenery are all excellent. We had...

As you mentioned, all the activities at the Estancia are included in the rate but they must be done accompanied by our staff due to it location within the National Park. We are very happy to know that you liked staying at the Estancia! Best regards, Estancia Critina staff.

We adored our stay at Estancia Cristina. The rooms was comfortable and the communal dining was great and led to a lot of fun. Most importantly, the daily hikes and horseback rides were a highlight of a year around the world. Wild horses were crossing the river as we crossed one day, go see the glaciers before they melt! Amazing...

What an amazing place. We both felt totally rejuvenated after our two day stay at magical Cristina. We had never hiked before but went on a 17km hike with a massive,y well informed and amusing guide, Anna. The horseback riding was wonderful and then we did another hike...exploring this very special corner of the world. Everyone there is charming, the...

The Estancia Cristina experience begins with a winding cruise past scores oficebergs left behind by the receding Upsala glacier. Once ashore on the Estancia's remote property, guests can admire the magnificent peaks of the southern Andes and Lake Argentino from comfortable accommodations in one of three cozy cottages, each with four bedrooms and a shared living room. A nearby lodge...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Estancia Chrisina Lodge. We had a wonderful 3+ hour boat ride there viewing glaciers and icebergs and then enjoyed our charming room. The meals were very nice. The main lodge area was fine for gathering and eating. That's where the WiFi was available so our group congregated there. The local guides were friendly and...

This is a wonderful, remote, and worthwhile place to visit. One must arrive by several hour boat ride and the tour provides visitors some up close time with different glaciers along the way. The staff are super friendly, professional, and attentive within the boundaries that they have working at a remote lodge. The views are also impressive. On the down side,...
