The staff is super friendly and helpful, which is something that many hostels (frequently owned by big corporate chains/franchises) have completely lost. It's clean. The bedrooms are comfortable, not too crowded. Good bathrooms. The common areas are spacious and well equipped. The hostel is not too big, the atmosphere is friendly, and it's quiet even when it's completely booked. Nice... More

The best thing about the hostel is the staff - they are all really friendly and helpful. Good location and breakfast. Only downsides were the pillows (might as well not have one) and I stayed in the room next to the kitchen and it was really noisy!

I had such a great time in this hostel, met really awesome people, the hostel has a massive bbq outside that you can use so we had a few great evenings drinking and bbq-ing outside! The location is really good being close to some great bars and restaurants and a short walk from the centre. The staff are lovely, one... More

We stayed here very fragmented as we did a 3 day cycling trip in the middle (route de les 7 lagos). From the beginning this hostel has been excellent: room was spacious and clean, helped us with the cycle renting agency, we arrived again very late on Christmas eve: they put everything in place for us so we could enter... Excellent log cabin type double room. Spacious, clean and tidy with a good sized ensuite. Very good wifi! Good breakfast, the fresh bread was the highlight. The staff were very helpful and gave us all the information we required to go trekking etc. Thank you for a lovely stay! We would highly recommend Periko's!

Great choice. I;ve tried 3 different hostels in Bariloche and this one was by far the best. Super charming place with a large, well maintained and sunny garden to chill out. BBQ area. Generous breakfast that ends at 10.30AM. Super well equipped kitchen. Dorms are super comfortable with several electric sockets per room (very rare) and individual bed light (never... More

The private rooms are nice and more like a b&b than a hostel. The common areas were large enough to accommodate a full hostel. Breakfast was typical toast, cereal and coffee. The location is a few blocks from the main square and close to restaurants, bus stops and shopping. The negatives were wifi signal strength (finicky even in common areas),... More
