crystal clear water and skies the east road in is like Utah fabulous rafting amazing waters rock formations to write about and then you make a turn west and it turns into a green forest with deep blue water like really deep 400 meters- the views of the snow covered mountains reflected in the Lake of Traful are just fantastic there is a submerged forest you can scuba dive around or go fishing and catch the best trout in the world and if you are lucky a fresh water salmon - yes that is what I said We had lunch at Marinas Puerto Traful and the trout was excellent next time you need an enchanted forest fix this is where I would suggest
We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, we ate dinner at the hotel and the food was excellent, they have many options for vegetarian, with fish or meat. We had a beautiful room with a magnificent lake view. Service was great!
I can write a review of this hotel just because I stayed there in 2009. Unfortunately I tried to repeat my good experience there this year (28.04) and made a reservation that were never confirmed or cancelled. Since this year we went there almost the same date we tried to get there after several phone calls and mails without any answer... When arriving we realized that the hotel were seasonal closed... Why they didn´t cancell my reservation or just answer my mails? This rating is not about the hotel or service there, because as I remember it is good, just a warning about not having any answer from them when trying to go.
It is what we call "hosteria" a smal hotel, with few bedrooms and not servicies if you are looking that, this is the place. If you look for addtional services look for a hotel Cozy, clean and with an incredible view. And excelent price
From the outside, Puerto Marina Traful looks charming. There are balconies with flower boxes facing the lake and a large outdoor deck for the restaurant. Take a look at the photos! We enjoyed the warm and friendly service of the restaurant and its location on the lake. The hotel staff are also helpful and friendly. However, our room on the second floor was noisy; there doesn’t appear to be good sound proofing between the rooms. Also, when you walk down the hallway you can’t avoid making noise because of the creaky wood floor and you will hear anyone talking as they walk down the hall. If you stay here, be sure to request the top floor. We spent one night here in Villa Traful. To enjoy this quiet, beautiful location, you need at least two nights (one full day). That would give the time to take a boat ride across the lake to walk to the rock paintings. Or perhaps, walk to the waterfall. The light show and the clouds at sunset was the best of any night in the Lake District. It was incredibly beautiful! These were seen right from our balcony. Take a look at the photos!…
