An old hotel in need of an update, nice stroll into town. Lovely helpful staff who gave good advice for dinner options, everything worked well and the breakfast was very good. Very good value for money.

Stayed for three nights. The location is fantastic, right by the lake and a short walk from the high street. It's a bit rustic, but the staff are amazing, very friendly and they serve a good breakfast.

This is not a first class hotel, but the low price and staff and their service make up for it. The room is very small and we did not like the heavy use of wood as the decorative element (YMMV). It is located in walking distance from the main street. Breakfast is good. Above all - the people who run...

Place is very clean, bed is excellent (i like firm mattresses); croissants, scrambled eggs, and fruit preserve crepe were superb (i had just come out of a much fancier hotel in mar del plata, and i enjoyed breakfast better at la posta). Personnel are friendly and very helpful. There was one glitch, wifi was not working on second floor, but...

A great little family run hotel. Upon entering the door of this establishment we were treated as if royalty had arrived. Maybe as a family member whose visits were too far in between. This littlehaven sits within steps of Lago Lacar. A beautiful crystal clear lake on the edges of the downtown area. The accomodations are a little tight as...

The Austrian-style baronial reception hall is a bit dark and over-ornate but you'll receive a warm welcome from the charming and helpful staff. Room 110 was reasonably-sized and had a view across the lake but the furnishings were all a bit tired. A good breakfast was served at table with eggs cooked to order. The hotel is conveniently situated, close...

This is a family owned and operated bed-and-breakfast type of place. We booked a room just the night before and when we arrived, we were greeted by name - they were clearly expecting us. The owner came out and carried our bags himself. He was courteous and friendly. The place and the room were clean. It is two blocks away...

After meandering up and down mountain road for hours we arrive into San Martin de los Andes on a Sunday to find the town celebrating an annual festival. Town was bustling with people and activities. The four of us were very excited until we arrived to find our reservations had been for the day before. There was no vacancy In...

This place got booked by our travel agent and honestly I personally wasn't to impressed with it. But I have to be fair, this place has 2.5 to 3 stars (depending where you look) so I have to take that into consideration. But I have definitely been to better 3 star establishments. The rooms and the entrance to me were...

I loved this place. If I had time, I would have booked a week and just relaxed here. The charming rooms that make you feel as if you're in the Alps, the delicious breakfast, and the beautiful lobby all add to La Posta's charm. It's close to the bus terminal, the lakefront, and the main drag of San Martin de...
