Not a bad hostel, but not great. Small kind of cramped dorms with not a lot of space for bags. Tiny bathroom. Try to get a room on the first floor because they seemed nicer and the bathrooms were nicer than the ones on the second floor. Very rustic common room and kitchen. Big yard, but no chairs or anything...

We stayed two nights in Babel hostel. It's a basic hostel with great staff. The common spaces are well maintained. Bathrooms are clean. Bedroom is basic.

I toured Argentina on a motorcycle and stayed in this hostel for a couple of days while the weather was a little inclement. I have to say I didn't want to leave. I was the only one in the hostel because of the low season and the price was very reasonable (AR45 = US$11), which was pretty well the same...
