Behind a non-descript door on a narrow street lies a little paradise. A small courtyard with rooms set around it, a lounge and a beautiful garden .. wonderfully furnished with antiques and interesting decorations. The rooms were a good size and comfortable, again nicely furnished.... but it's the public areas that are delightful Breakfast was tasty and served on china... More

We have spent four days with Ricardo and his team in their lovely place. It is a bit of a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle outside. Ricardo organised us a car from Fredico at Trip Car Rental and he was brilliant. We spent one day going north to Salines Grandes and the second day going south to Cafeyette. Both... More

I really enjoyed my stay at Carpe Diem - it is central to everything in town and has spacious bedroom/bath suites in this beautiful home. Owner and staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Great value for the price!

Riccardo is a very attentive and helpful host. The house is beautiful and has very big, clean and airy rooms. There are many choices of common areas you share with the other guests. There are two very friendly house cats - so those with allergies might need to take precautions.

Rooms cool, quiet and comfortable although a little on the dark side. Take your mosquito repellent as the setting around gardens means there were a lot of them. Plug ins are provided in the rooms but we got bitten at the breakfast table. Breakfast excellent: good bread, cakes, cheese, natural yoghurt (this is hard to find) freshly squeezed orange juice,... Ricardo was a very accommodating host. He owns a very charming B&B at a good price. Excellent central location two blocks from plaza central. Terrific breakfast. Highly Recommended, we stayed twice on our way two Jujuy and on our way back. Thank you!

This, as other reviewers have noted, is a well situated and pleasant B & B which serves very good breakfasts with excellent baking. We booked it for the beginning and end of our trip to northwest Argentina. It was nice enough but there were some problems which limited our enjoyment. The rooms have windows which open onto a central space.... More

I would highly recommend this friendly bed and breakfast. Our bedroom had stylish antique furniture and looked onto a lovely internal courtyard garden. Guests also have the use of the comfortable sitting room. Our hosts Silke and Ricardo couldn't have been more helpful with our car hire, with recommending places to stay for our visit to the Calchaqui Valley and... More

We stayed at carpe diem encouraged by great reviews and must confirm it's a lovely place. We usually stay at hotels due to feeling of more privacy but I encourage to try this place even for one night for the experience. The place has an amazing ambience due to attention to details owners put in decorating. To me it felt... More

Silke & Ricardo have a beautiful home with appealing rooms in dark wood, a long hallway that opens onto a large dining area that opens onto a large garden with grape vines that were in bloom in January and ripe purple grapes for guests to enjoy. They have an herb garden there as well, and the most well-behaved cats quietly... More
