Great hostel, with a really quirky 70's vibe. Small and homely, and staff who are alway on hand to help. Great swimming pool and sofas to relax. Rooms are clean, and plenty of toilets. The owner is lovely, speaks perfect english and cute too...

The common area is nice, the kitchen well equipped. Close to the city center. Big lockers even for your big backpack. They are numbered as well as the beds, which makes communicating easier. Tours available and staff very happy to help plan your stay.

At 2 min walking from the central place this hostel is perfect for the solo travellers like me. I have met very cool travellers. The manager is helpfull and my single room was clean. The shared bathroom was also clean with hot water. I have spent a really good time. I recommand.

Our double room was so small that we basically could not move in it. While the communal areas were nice, this low quality double room ruined our stay. The room had no ventilation and was unbearably hot, as well as being right next to the communal area, so it was really noisy. Positive points - ping pong table.

We had a great stay at Coloria. Fantastic location, 5mins walk from the central plaza. We changed the date of our stay at short notice so that we could spend a night at cafayate and they had no problem with this and even helped us hire a car to take. The staff were really friendly and breakfasts were great. We...

What we liked: The hostel is well located (very central), the common areas are nice, and wifi worked all around the hostel. And we were allowed late check out on our last day as I was ill. The girl at reception that day was nice. What we didn't like: We booked the private double with the shared bathroom though which...

Absolutely wonderful hostel. Big breakfasts. Nice little pool (pretty chilly in October though). Ping pong table. Well-equipped kitchen. Hot showers. I stayed in three of the dorms in my time here, and all were comfortable. The four-person named Madera (all the rooms have different colours for names) probably offered the best night's sleep. Single best thing about Coloria is the...

We had a not so pleasant stay at Coloria Hostel. We booked the room a week in advance. When we arrived, the only room that was available was a very small room (double bed) directly attached to the common area. The room had no ventilation, except for a window that led to the common area. It was noisy, warm and...

We looked around several hostels in Salta and this was the cleanest, brightest and friendliest that we found. There was a lovely large and bright open communal area which looked out over the garden and the breakfast was pretty good too. Our private double room was in the basement so we didn't have a window - the rooms upstairs were...

Nice small hostel close to the centre of town. Clean, good kitchen, nice pool for chilling on sunny days, the breakfast buffet (included) is simple but very tasty - fresh baked salt bread with spreads, cereal and hot drinks. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
