Nice rooms, and the staff were helpful. We thought for the price breakfast was modest and there seemed to be only ever one member of staff around for breakfast/desk as the same time. We had issue with showers , for which they were very apologetic and trying to fix. However they failed to let us know this problem prior to... More

When you arrive at this small hotel in Tilcara, you realize that everything (buildings, furniture, amenities, restaurant, service etc.) was carefully planned and executed with a professional and up-to-date perspective. In other words: this guys know what they are doing, from the heated pool to the heated suite floors (so comfy!), from the attentive service to the board games and... More

I loved this place. We stayed for three nights just after Easter and it was perfect. Luckily for us El Reposo was quiet whilst we were there so we almost had it to ourselves. Having already visited the South of Argentina my first impression was that here South meets North. I say this because the style and the materials reminded... More

The Reposo was generally a good choice in Tilcara with a couple of niggles . The location was nice set a little away from the town centre. We particularly appreciated the quality of the breakfast and the evening meal we had : the staff are charming kind and helpful a real pleasure to deal with ; our Spanish is limited... More

Great setting, hacienda style with all modern amenities. Well manicured gardens and grounds. Access is rough over unpaved road, although improvements were being made to pave it with interlocking stones. A bit pricey for the Tilcara area.

If you're coming from Tilcara Village, walking/driving up the road, hesitating if something is up there, just go on. The devil really must recover at this silent, relaxing place. And he must enjoy the delicious breakfast, too!

Lovely setting, well outside the small town, but with a small drawback that I consider rather major: no mosquito screens on the windows. Certainly one of the best in Tilcara, and people obviously try hard to stand out.

This little gem of a hotel is on the edge of Tilcara, up on the hillside (so be prepared for a 15 min. walk uphill from town). The setting is beautiful, the hotel is on the newer side and very clean. The breakfast was above average with breads, cereals, fruits and even the tea beverage, mate available. We also dined... More

We arrived in Tilcara during what seemed like a dust storm, so really didn't know what to make of the place. We read earlier on tripadvisor about the El Resposo Del Diablo and liked the look of it. We saw some signs for the hotel and followed them. It was a little hard to find (up the top of the... More
