This is truly a special place to stay. The small cozy grounds are like a mini-jungle, rich with vegetation and visiting birds. Our room was spacious and clean with great a great shower. Our included breakfast was over the top with fresh fruit, homemade bread, jams, juice, fresh brewed coffee and eggs on request. The friendly and courteous staff of...

John is a superb host. He can arrange trips to the falls as well as airport pick up and drop off (from either side of the border). He has excellent local knowledge which is really useful. He also provides evening cocktails and home made nibbles free.

John was a superb host from start to finish - his evening cocktails were especially welcome! The B&B itself was faultless and felt like a home from home. We were so well looked after, Secret Garden felt like so much more than a B&B. At the end of a long trip in Argentina where we stayed in a number of...

Most visitors to this beautiful oasis will visit the falls at least from the Argentine side. Some will acquire the visa for Brazil so that they can give Iguazú justice by visiting the falls from both sides. Bonus! When you are in Brazil there is an amazing bird sanctuary right across the street from the entrance to the falls. John...

Our visit to Iguazu Falls was only improved by our choice of accommodation, Secret Garden Iguazu B&B. The location in Puerto Iguazu is convenient to shops and restaurants. We were able to access restaurants with just a short walk. John, our host, is quite an interesting guy. He provides a good breakfast and evening cocktails with hors d'oeuvres. He can...

This worked for us, John - your host was most helpful, he even rang us on New Year's Day to check all of our arrangements! The B&B is as described in other reviews - clean, quiet, very comfortable and a great line in evening caipirinhas. John arranged our pick up from Brazil and trips to both Brazilian and Argentine falls...

An unexpected secret oasis. Spacious room set within a tranquil garden with relaxing communal area where breakfast and evening cocktails served. John, the owner was a great host and responsive to all our requests. Good base for exploring the falls with many restaurants within walking distance.

I spent two nights in John's little hidden oasis. The rooms/cabins are simple but very clean and spacious. The highlights of my stay were the beautiful tropical garden and the caipirinha sessions with the host (John). John is a very welcoming host who likes to interact with his guests. He makes you feel at home from the beginning. The caipirinhas are...

We had a wonderful time at this Bed and Breakfast. John could not have been more accommodating. He organized our transportation to the falls and back and forth from the airport and even did some sight seeing with us. He welcomed us with a refreshing drink and bite to eat and made the best cocktails that I have ever had...

Secret Garden B&B is an alternative to hotels in Iguassi. It is clean, functional and set amongst rustic tropical gardens. Our room had the absolute basics - a double bed, small bathroom, air con and a fan. The owner John shares his home with the guests and hosts drinks each evening. Whilst he has great local knowledge, is helpful with...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An ideal place to jump-start your visit to the Iguazu Falls in Argentina. High on concept the Secret Garden is populated by tree ferns and other shade-loving plants salvaged from the slash and burn rural and logging activities decimating the surrounding rain-forest. Our location allows you to get a feel of living in a small South American frontier town and has easy access to urban amenities. ... more   less
