The Bamboo Hostel has an atractive location. First it is 2 blocks away from a Bus station and very near to the border of Brasil and Paraguay. The area is described as the land of "tres fronteras" - the borders of Argentina, Brasil and Paraguay. I have found in Septmber many people from all over the World which were satisfied...

Before staying at Bambu Hostel, I read a review that mentioned bed bugs in the title, but proceeded to give a glowing review. I understand that now--this place is great: the staff is super friendly and accomodating, the bathrooms are clean, welcome drink upon arrival, free breakfast...but there were definitely bedbugs. We were staying in Room 1 and killed about...

We really sorry about this. The backpackers bring the bed bugs to the hostel, there is not bed bugs in Puerto Iguazu. When this happens we close the room and we disinfected, then backpackers bring it back, unfortunately we can not check bags when people get in the hostel. We changed your room and we did offer to send all...

We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome here during our three nights stay. Danielle on reception was brilliant and so helpful (even when we had problems getting our bank card to work in the local cashpoints!) The bar is a wonderful place to relax in the evenings after a long day at the waterfalls & food very good...

Cute hostel, great environment. Staff is very patient and friendly - they are very helpful with tours and money exchange. No need to do any planning here, just show up at the hostel and they will take care of everything for you. Felt safe, even in shared room. They do have private rooms as well.

We stayed in the hostel for three nights. The two receptionists were really awesome. They booked us buses, tours, Taxis. They showed us good Restaurants and helped every day and nighttime. Really good. The breakfast was good. The rooms and the bathroom were not really clean. A lot of doors didn't even close. In the last night we had to...

Florian your comment is really unfair 1- Breakfast included tortillas, homemade bread and cake, natural orange juice, rice ,beans, apples, and a lot more not so common in hostels, everyone loves breakfast but you. 2- the rate for dollars is pretty good, in buenos aires or in the street of course you can get more, but you can not complain about our rules, plus you had...

We stayed at Hostel Bambu for three nights while visiting Iguazu Falls. We had very mixed feelings about it. Pros: free caipirinha upon arrival, decent wok dinners, very good breakfast. Cons: disgusting bathrooms, no AC, lot's of bugs in the room. The hostel has a very chill vibe with wall murals, an outdoor seating area, and a ping pong table....

Sorry Emily about your bad experience here, mosquitoes and bugs are around because we are in the jungle, our hostel is full of plants and trees. and if you leave the window open of course a lot of mosquitoes will get into the room. We clean the bathroom everyday and we can not take responsibility if our guests are messy,...

I only stayed here for 1 night after my Falls tour and before my night bus. I was so tired when I got there so the hot shower was very much appreciated. I was in a 14 bed dorm.which was very open and bathrooms are quite crammed but I was lucky the hostel was very quiet when I was there....
