We stayed here for three nights here and I do have to say upon booking, we too were apprehensive with the negative reviews, from our experience with our Thailand trip we thought let's see how this hotel is with the premise that people who are likely to complain and whinge would write the reviews. Sure the hotel needs some tender... More

We booked this hotel for 3 nights based on the reviews from another booking website...all pretty postive, but when we read the negative reviews on TripAdvisor we became a bit apprehensive. We can tell you without a doubt that the hotel is not anywhere as bad as those reviews! Not ever, anywhere did we see a sign not to bring... More

I was a bit apprehensive about our stay at the Tourbillon. I booked a last minute deal for two of the bungalows, as we travelled through Argentina after seeing the Olympics in Rio. I sent them an email to ask about an airport pickup but never got a response. At that point I started looking at the TripAdvisor reviews, which... More

PRO: Stayed here for 3 days. Pretty good hotel, comfortable rooms. It could be cleaner but it was good enough. Good breakfast and dinner service! CONS: double check your check. Know your prices. They almost charged me for stuff from the mini bar I never had and 1 extra dinner for an extra night I never spent there. An ugly... More

I received an unhelpful and unfriendly welcome. Simple requests seemed like a chore to all the staff. The room was sad and tired with mould- cheapish but the photos don't reflect the hotel and I'm very pleased I only booked it for one night!!!

We had made a booking for 5 nights at this hotel since it looked so nice in the pictures. Not a good idea. First of all the hotel is located outside Puerto Iguazu and there is nothing within walking distance that is worth visiting. When we came into our room we were "greeted" by a sign that said that we... More

We have just returned from three days of vacation in Iguazu and unfortunately stayed at the Tourbillon. The room was kind of old fashioned and mold close to the window, the bathroom dirty and the food average (both breakfast and dinner). The whole place needs a good makeover I would suggest. All in all it was not worth the price... More

This hotel just wasn't good. Room was dingy, bed saggy, bathroom not cleaned well (used soap re-wrapped to appear new), A/C very poor. It just had a creepy feeling, overall. Walls were very thin. The lobby was once modern and well-done, but needed a facelift. The dining room was fine, although the included breakfast was very weak: little variety, limited... More

Do not stay in this hotel. It is a complete nightmare. 4 star hotel is a complete joke. It's not even a 1 star. I would probably think twice if I had to locate my dog in this hotel. No one speaks English, no help with the luggage, the hotel completely stinks of mold. Room which are not occupied are... More

Worst experience ever in South America. Hotel not close to anything. A good distance from downtown where good food are located. Not close to the falls either. Hotel staff not friendly or accommodating at all. We are travelling with seniors and there was no one to help us with our luggages. Takes a long time for the airconditioning to cool,... More
