Looking back on our 2 nights at the Sheraton brings a negative feeling in me. Puts a frown on my face. There is nearly nothing good about this hotel. If it wasn't the ONLY hotel in it's location (within the national park) it would have to cost 1/3 of the price to attract people to stay. There total lack of...

Friends advised us to fit Iguazu Falls into our vacation and stay at the Sheraton. I'm so glad we did. The hotel was great! Yes, it's expensive but you pay for the location and the spectacular view of the falls. We had a room facing the falls and also had a balcony. I read reviews about the monkeys but we...

I had low expectations of this resort, due to the mixed reviews on Trip Advisor. However, for the most part, I was pleasantly surprised. As a Gold member of Starwood, I was upgraded to a room with a spectacular view of the falls. In addition, I had free Wi-Fi in the room, although as I expected, it was quite slow....

This is the only hotel in Iguazu National Park. It has an expectaculsr view of the Iguazu falls if you pay $355 a night, you can get parking lot view much cheaper. The hotel is old, outdated, it has 180 rooms and two elevators. One was out of order during my stay. The exercise room is fairly equiped for Argentinian...

I am currently staying at this hotel whilst visiting the Argentinian side of the Iguazu Falls. Unfortunately the state of the hotel is shocking - the lifts have broken screens, the bathroom has hairs from the previous guest, paint is peeling off the walls and generally the hotel looks tired and dated. The impression you get is that they know...

Decided on the Sheraton due to the obvious location advantage. Yes it's not cheap, but overall, I was very happy I chose the Sheraton. Room has a little musty smell (but again, considering we are surrounded by jungle) but its squeaky clean and you don't feel the humidity. Bed comfortable but not like the westin heavenly beds. Breakfast was impressive...

Well, yes, the hotel is kind of old, the elevators (2) are slow especially if there are a lot of people using them, but the location is amazing and that alone is worth it! I had gotten the hotel using my united miles and paid some for a two night stay. We flew in from Aeroparque on aerolinas argentina. By...

You are mostly captive to this hotel. Plus is the falls view from certain rooms.. Negative is the food. Also the Argentinian side requires lots of walking to get close. If you don't like lots of hiking in heat and humidity, stay on the Brazilian side

The most important thing about seeing the falls is where you decide to stay. My recommendation is stay on the Argentinian side and just visit the Brazilian side. The reason being the views from the Sheraton are unrivalled. The highlight of the hotel is its location, its in the national park so you have longer on the trails, you can...

We have just returned from a three night stay here. Firstly the outside of the hotel is run down and we were a bit concerned when we arrived. However inside was lovely, our room was a fair size and clean. We had views over the waterfall which we enjoyed every morning and every afternoon - so worth the money. The...
