we Stayed there for 3 Nights and enjoyed our stay a lot. It was very quiet and the Location is a Bit off, but the Walk into town was nö Problem whatsoever. The host was great ! We had great conversations with him and he did some Internet Research for us with his Laptop. Would Return.

Altough its a 10 min walk to the city center, I can really recommend this B&B. We extended our stay from 2 to 5 nights because we liked it and Mendoza a lot. The owners father was taking care of the hostel while we were there and he was super friendly and helpful. He organised for us the trip to... More

This place is a little out of town,The hostel is located in a residential area about 8 blocks (25 minute walk) from the main restaurant area of Mendoza, making the location a drawback. The first impression was very disappointing,They don't make up for it in service or cleanliness. I would recommend only to the very budget-minded traveler. The hostel needs... More

We arrived at 8.30 after an overnight bus from Cordoba and was greeted by Barby when we arrived. She said our rooms could be ready for us at 9.30. When we said we'd go and get some breakfast and coffee and come back, she told us to help ourselves to the breakfast and coffee there for free. We wanted to... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and was very comfortable. We arrived on an early morning bus about 0830am so the rooms were not quite ready but the staff offered us breakfast, coffee and could sit in the lounge room until they were ready. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with your own bathroom, not the flashest of places but... More

We stayed again 2 weeks in this very quiet but very cozy place just 6 blocks from downtown. Marianna, the lovely owner, speaks fluently english and is very helpfull and knowledgeable. She is happy to look for the best recommendations in town and give personal but professional advice , from winetours, mountain tours, the best restaurant in town or even a... More

My partner and I stayed here with my parents who were visiting us in Argentina last October. We found it to be absolutely perfect for a week`s stay in Mendoza, despite the 15 minute walk into the city (which was always very safe, day and night). The rooms were simple, but very comfortable and cute, as were the bathrooms. Our... More

Comfortable rooms with good breakfast and helpful, friendly staff. Good value but a 15-20 minute stroll from the city centre which I think is validly reflected in the price. Do note however that there are a lot of rules here including silence between 10pm and 8am so if you don't go to bed early and want to make any noise,... More

Tacky, grubby. Basic rooms, bathroom poor but plenty hot water. Toilet iffy. Nice hallway with chairs outside rooms so very sociable. Breakfast fine. Staff lovely. Nice walk into main town but need taxi back at night as did not feel too safe.

We were a bit confused about what to expect prior to arrival due to the mixed reviews, and we heard similar comments from another guest. After staying there we felt that some of the rave reviews raise expectations too high. If you only read the raves, the first impression can be a bit disappointing. However, we were mostly happy with... More
