Plaza Italia is a lovely home where you are treated as if you were the friend of some family member. Cecilia, the manager, was so welcoming and helpful! She gave me all the information I needed to explore the town. She was interested in how everything went in my adventures, and I appreciated that interest. My room, on the first...

Big rooms, some with private baths. Delicious breakfast, within a few blocks of excellent restaurants, friendly staff and don't forget to take Javier's outstanding tour of the vineyards.

Charming, fastidiously clean, super-friendly and helpful. Mercedes even went out of her way to help me after I had booked two tours with a local travel agency. On one, I could get the exact same tour for less $ if she booked it for me, rather than the agency. On the other, Javier, her son, had a much better tour....

OK- so we got to this hotel through tripadvisor... read a lot of positive comments. And definately agree there were great things about this place... mainly the location and the people! Javier's wine tour was certainly well worth the splurge!! ($125 per person - 4 wineries and a 7-course lunch that was out of this world!). Definately the highlight of...

This is a beautiful house in a great location, within walking distance of bars, shops, restaurants and the park. Recommended restaurants Il Palenque and La Florencia were outstanding. Also check out Antares bar for a great range of microbrews, from IPA to Imperial Stout. Didn't see that much of the owners but the lady that looks after the place (Cecilia)...

This small bed and breakfast is family run, and has the feel of a family home, although all bedrooms are taken with guests. The house generally, and the bedrooms specifically, are furnished as though the owners lived in these rooms, so that one feels like a personal guest. The main staff, the lady of the house, Mercedes, her son Javier,...

To stay in this B&B is to be welcomed into someone's house who has your best interests at heart, & to be offered the spare bedroom for the duration of your stay. The room & the service provided were very good. Breakfasts, served on a large table in the lounge for all guests, couldn't help but provide the ideal opportunity...

...are typified by the Lady of the House, Senora Mercedes...if one visits Mendoza there is no option but to stay at the Plaza Italia. The service, the attention and an added surprise...Javier , who personally guided us for an entire day to 3 spectacular wineries/Vineyards interrupted only by a multi-course gourmet luncheon al fresco in the heart of a vineyard....

Lovely B&B with very helpful staff, large, sunny comfortable room and central location. One word of warning, make sure to get a room that does not face the main street in the front of the building as it is VERY busy with loads of traffic and will definitly keep you awake at night. Otherwise it's a great spot.

This family really knows how to take care of their guests. With the exception of Tito (very nice guy though) everyone ranges from passable to flawless English. They are helpful, kind and warm people. The place needs an update but it is clean, neat and has everything you would want for your stay in Mendoza. We stayed in the front...
