We are just finishing a 3 day stay in this delightful B&B. The location and facilities are superb and the owner/hostess has arranged a great trip to the mountains to view Cerro Aconcagua, and a custom wine tour. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable and the light continental breakfast is just that, including fresh squeezed orange juice. WiFi is...

Plaza Italia is a fantastic place to stay. It is a beautiful house that has been converted into a delightful B&B by the owner, Mercedes, who is one of the most lovely people you could ever meet. Every stage of my stay there was excellent. When making the reservation, my enquiries were answered quickly and thoroughly. Upon arrival, I was...

After all of the great reviews, I was very disappointed. Pros: The wine tour was fantastic and well worth the cost, the rooms are a decent size, and the staff all speak English. Cons: The owners smoke in the house/back patio, and you can smell it throughout the whole house. It's not as charming as many B&Bs are - the...

We liked the sound of the place from the website, but the reality surpassed expectations, it gives the feel of being at home, and the attention is very good. Our plane was 3 hours late, and the owner waited for us with a smile, in spite of being just after midnight. Breakfast is very good, fresh orange juice and home...

I was a bit disappointed. Pros: Awesome wine tour with Javier, great central location, the owners are very nice, and the house is very clean and organized. Cons: The owners smoke in the house/back patio, so I could smell smoke/nicotine in the house but not in our room (except when we opened the windows). I love charming B&Bs, but I...

The B&B Plaza Italia is a nice urban villa with wooden floors, attractive furniture and some interesting paintings in the reception rooms. we stayed in an upstairs courtyard facing bedroom which was comfortable, with very generous storage space and a small but functional bathroom. The upstairs bedrooms also conveyed that pleasant villa atmoshere and certainly our bedroom . With regard...

Before traveling to Mendoza, Argentina, I contacted Javier Inzaurraga at Plaza Italia B&B to check availability for our stay. Sadly, they were booked full and unable to accommodate us. But Javier promptly responded to my e-mail with an alternative, the Hotel Argentino, and proceeded to book and confirm a reservation there for my husband and me. Javier also mentioned that...

This small inn is a delight, and perfectly located to walk to the main square, pedestrian street, or park. It is run by the charming Cecelia, and owned by the lovely Mercedes, who make sure you are well taken care of, while still being unobtrusive. We had a large and quiet room with private bath on the second floor. We...

Javier knows his onions (so to speak). The tour consists of four vineyards, none of which are too heavily commerical and some of which are boutique. The undisputed highlight though revolves around the lunch with tasting wines. This multiple course meal would not look out of place in a Michelin starred restuarant and along with a further 'gift' from Javier...

Stayed here for three nights in November 2010. The location was amazing, and breakfast was substantial. The staff made every effort to accommodate our needs and schedule. We did, however, feel slightly pressured to take the wine tour, and felt that we were treated a little cooly when we declined to take it, since our schedule was rather uncertain.
