My friends Becky, Jack (uno) and I (Jack dos) stayed at Lemon Tree for what was supposed to be 2 nights but we had to extend it to make it 3. Matti is the most welcoming host and although my Spanish is limited, I felt so at home in this awesome place. It is covered in incredible graffiti and we went on a night out with some of the people who work there (shoutout Renzo, Jime and Meli) and they showed us a great time, always being in a super positive mood. I think I’ll have to return to work here or have a prolonged stay when my Spanish gets better. (We’re all 18 or 19 and visiting from south of London). The horse riding was lovely through the mountains but it was also so easy to just stay in this paradise without it feeling like a waste of a day.

We extended our stay in Mendoza because we loved it here so much. It's a great location by all the vineyards and has such a nice atmosphere which makes you feel at home. Ivo was the best!!!!! We recommended lemon tree to others and they loved it too. We had the best asado here and we loved that there were animals. Mathias (the owner) was really helpful and also need to mention that he has done such a great job with the hostel - feels like you're in one big artistic spot!

Lemon tree is an amazing hostel. The owner and his girlfriend are great hosts and they have a fantastic team behind them. They help with wine tours, horse riding, bike tours and give good advice on different things to do. It’s a great place to make yourself at home and meet some amazing people! We met some of the best people from our entire 5 month in trip in South America at Lemon Tree. We were booked to stay for 2 nights and extended twice staying for a week! We were sad to leave! There is a lovely lady who comes in every day and cleans the hostel throughout - she is a diamond!! A really fantastic place to stay and I recommend it to everyone!!

One of the most friendly Hostel I've ever been, great work with the wall art and the signs hanging everywhere, you never finish reading the all, very amusing. The owner is restless and is always organizing activities, you never get bored. Perfect for people who travel alone or with friends.

My best friend and I rented a room here the other night. The space is so cute, rates are affordable, location is great, and there is a brewery on site! Best of all the staff is super accommodating and all great people. I really enjoyed staying here and would recommend to anyone traveling through Antigua! :)
