I really love this hotel. I have been there in April and I loved the surroundings. The minibar is excellent. Staff is great, everything worked perfect. You can even find a supermarket on the second street. The sun was great.

This is a clean, safe, economic hotel across the street from the beach and adjacent to a pedestrian street for shopping. I stayed 3 nights in a top floor room with a view of the ocean for about $65/night. The hotel and room were clean, quiet and comfortable basic accommodations. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel Antartida was originally open exclusively to vacationing brass from the Argentine Navy. Now it is open to the public, and its easy to walk through the halls and feel the presence of the Admirals, Commodores, etc. If you are looking for a modern chain hotel, this isnt it.
