We only had a short overnight stay that was booked at the last minute as our boat broke down on the way back from Antarctica - but VAIN were great...and very helpful in booking a large taxi for us the next day.

Myself and my partner only had two days together at Christmas. One of us flying in from overseas and the other from elsewhere in Argentina, the hotel was central and in a neighbourhood that offered decent restaurants and bars, so we didn't have to constantly be in a cab. The room was fine, not great but fine. I found the...

Located in the beautiful Palermo neighbourhood. Vain is a hidden gem, in a busy city. Room is spacious, clean, and so very quiet at night. Palermo is full of bars, cafe, restaurants, that stay open well into the morning. Safe and friendly neighbourhood, we had no problems at all, day or night. Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
