The location and the room can't be beat. Great neighborhood. The courtyard and the Oak bar are fantastic places to spend time either lounging or for a business drink. The meeting rooms are a bit dark and windowless so it can be hard to sit there knowing the fantastic hotel that is above you. I have high standards and I...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 5 February 2017 via mobile

We just had a great three night stay at the Park Hyatt. We were fortunate and got an unexpected upgrade to the old palace section but the regular rooms looked nice as well. Room was great and while the chairs in the suite weren't the most comfortable, the extra space was great and the bathroom was wonderful. Breakfast was included...

This hotel is a quiet and relaxing gem hidden in the middle of a cosmopolitan and bustling city. The staff was welcoming and friendly without pretense. The artwork filled hallways and gallery are to be enjoyed as is the well appointed onsite spa with an indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and treatment rooms. Our room overlooking the gardens was spacious, quiet...

My Husband and I stayed in this hotel this past March 2017. I was eating alone at SushiClub in puerto Madero at 2:30 pm.I Got pick poqueted inside of the restaurant and called the hotel desperate; They sent a chofer in a limo with a uniformed concierge that payed my bill, took me back to the hotel, helped me cancel...

We were told this was the nicest hotel in Buenos Aires and we weren't disappointed. The public spaces are gorgeous and the room was large and clean and well decorated. The food was excellent. We want to go back to BA just to stay there again

My wife and I, along with another couple, stayed here for two nights prior to beginning a cruise. The hotel is everything you would expect of a Park Hyatt. It is visually magnificent - the hallway connecting the two parts of the hotel is a virtual art gallery! As usually, the employees are delightful. I had reserved a room on...

I stayed at the Park Hyatt for three weeks while in Buenos Aires on business. The hotel is very nice and upscale. The room itself was nothing special. It was small and the décor was basic. I didn’t feel the luxury in the room that you expect from the rest of the hotel. There is a lot of space wasted...

...like many current hotels in Buenos Aires, this hotel once belonged to a wealthy family who were unable to keep it due to the economy and political situations. It's a good place to stay in either the old residence or the new hotel wing. It has a very good restaurant too.

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
