The 5th Floor is our recently restored Art Deco home in the finest part of Palermo. It offers luxurious accommodation and a generous amount of common space including the dining room leading to the Andalusian terrace, spacious, parquet floored living room and (honesty) bar with separate terrace. It provides a homely experience that will remind you of BA's golden age. If you are someone who prefers to sit in a living room rather than a lobby, enjoys a homely atmosphere and a generous amount of common space and would appreciate the assistance of your hosts in making the most of your visit to this fabulous city, then it may be the place for you.

Veronica gave us great attention and ideas as to what to do and where to go. You can stay in impersonal hotels in BA but to getting real insights you need to stay in a good b&b. The apartment is very safe. Fab terrace breakfast. Her english is perfect, as my spanish was not. We will be back for sure

My husband and I had a delightful stay over four nights at Veronica and husband Miles’ apartment in the Palermo neighborhood in central BA. The apartment and rooms shown on the website are true to the in-person experience. The Fifth Floor is a beautiful and charming place from which to launch your adventures of BA each day. Mornings started with breakfast on the terrace with made to order eggs and bacon if you wish, along with fresh fruit, pastries and coffee or tea. Veronica was always on hand to guide us through our plans each day, and handled logistics of all kinds for us (including calling cabs, making reservations, seeing if tours were available, etc.), as well as making the all-important recommendations for venues to explore and good restaurants nearby to experience. We even spent a lovely evening on the terrace sipping good wine and enjoying our hosts’ company. Veronica is incredibly gracious and her staff is exceptional. We loved our stay so much we imagined relocating to BA as long as it was in an apartment with ambiance as lovely as The Fifth Floor! Look no further for a charming place to stay in BA.

I loved staying here; it was wonderfully relaxed in a bustling city. So beautiful, so relaxing, so wonderful. Days started with a gorgeous freshly prepared breakfast on the terrace. Veronica was brilliant with suggestions of what to see, where to go, what to do and how best to go about it. She has a beautiful way of personalising this to make your stay in BA what you want your stay in BA to be. Location wise, it's in the heart of Palermo, home, walkable to everywhere and round the corner from the subway. The rooms are fabulous, beautifully designed and gorgeous to come back to - as it the chilled rose in the fridge.

We had an amazing experience staying here. Veronica is one of the most exceptional hosts we have had the pleasure of working with. She can literally make anything happen. She knows everything about the city and can work her magic for any requests you have. We absolutely loved it! The breakfast on the terrace was such a treat! Veronica kindly upgraded our room on checkin which was so nice. The only bad thing was that we couldn't stay longer!

This is a truly an exceptional property, with the most elegant host, in the best location in Buenos Aires. My husband and I stayed for a week in this beautiful home. Veronica, was an exquisite host who ensured that we had a comfortable and memorable experience in her city! She truly has the best recommendations for food, wine, and culture. She was always available to assist with all of our needs. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, spotless, and with large en-suite bathrooms. The breakfast includes local pastries, fruit, eggs, toast, and a perfect cup of coffee. We will return to Buenos Aires, and we will plan to stay at the 5th floor!

Stayed here for three nights. Recommended in Lonely Planet Argentina travel book. Veronica and her husband, Miles, are the most gracious and hospitable hosts that you could ever find! Prompt correspondence was had before and during our stay using WhatsApp. I am a very organized planner when we travel independently on vacations but Veronica's expertise in Buenos Aires really topped off our delightful stay in the city. She is a wealth of information and will see to it that you have all the comforts that you need during your stay. Veronica will sit down with you and help you plan your day, giving bus routes and metro information that is needed. Suggested that we go to a milonga to see locals tango which was a great experience and something that we wouldn't have done unless encouraged. Veronica suggested restaurants which she gladly made reservations along with a well-done tourist tango show. Since some of the Buenos Aires websites are not up to date, so she would call to check on opening times or available tours. She even changed USD to Argentine pesos for us at a favorable rate. Travel books are available to use if needed. Stayed in Room 1 which has both a tub and shower. Individual toiletries of shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap was provided. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean and quiet. No washcloths as typical outside of US. Free wifi that varied in speed. Great location that is close to metro, buses, shopping, restaurants, etc. Delicious breakfast served starting at 9AM on colorful tiled terrace which included scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, fresh fruit mixture, juice, coffee, and croissants. Spacious common areas were available to relax. Refrigerator available to store items, if needed. Honesty bar available also. Served us a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival. Room TV available in many channels. Filtered water is always available as well as a fresh fruit bowl. We used Uber frequently in Buenos Aires which is very inexpensive.

We had a perfect stay at 5th Floor. The apartment is well-located in Palermo, close to nightlife but also a within walking distance to Recoleta. The house is tastefully decorated with generous social spaces and full of character. Our room was also very clean and spacious. Most importantly, Veronica was a very friendly and helpful host without being too pushy and she gave us a lot of recommendations, even after we had already continued our trip and left Buenos Aires. As we had good weather, we could enjoy the delicious breakfast on a lovely terrace. We can definitely recommend this place and would always come back when returning to B.A. Thank you! Dennis & Simone

The 5th floor is located in a quiet, safe and convenient area of Buenos Aires. Veronica, our hostess, was immediately responsive to all emails sent, and so helpful on arrival. She arranged for concert tickets, money exchange at a good rate, restaurant recommendations and even where to buy the best wine to take on our cruise. The staff were warm and friendly and the breakfasts delicious. Great place to stay.

We stayed at the 5th floor as the last stop on our honeymoon in Chile and Argentina in November. Of all the hotels we stayed in I think this was our favourite! The apartment was located in the Palermo neighbourhood, with easy access to both the Metro and buses. Taxis were also cheap and in plentiful supply, making it super easy to get around/access the main sights. There were numerous restaurants and bars within an easy walking distance. The apartment itself is beautiful, having been lovingly restored by Veronica and Miles. Being a lover of all things antique, and Art Deco in particular, I was in my element. We stayed in the master bedroom, which comes with a large, comfortable bed, a balcony and bathroom with an enormous tub! And if you don’t want to stay in your room then there are plenty of common areas to enjoy including a beautiful lounge with honesty bar and a gorgeous terrace area. However, what really made our stay extra special was the hosts Veronica and Miles and their lovely team. Nothing was too much trouble and from the moment we walked in Veronica made us feel super welcome, giving us lots of personalised recommendations for places to visit and where to eat etc. Her local knowledge is invaluable and made such a positive difference to our trip – we discovered places we would never have found on our own and she even took the time to help us to source a piece of art to take home as a souvenir when I remarked how much I liked theirs! And I have to give a special mention to the breakfasts which were delicious and which we looked forward to each morning! Definitely the best of our trip! All in all it was a fabulous stay and the perfect way to end our honeymoon!
