Lovely hotel. Great location. Safe. Clean. Excellent staff. Stylishly understated and very comfortable. Our room facing the courtyard was spacious and quiet. Quieter street than similar hotels in the neighborhood. Wonderful side/day trips can be arranged. Excellent shopping and restaurants in walking distance. Highly recommend.

A delightful hotel with about twelve bedrooms. Ours was exceptionally large. There is a quaint well stocked bar at the front of the hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful and speak good English. Their recommendations for where to eat and a tango night were first class.

I stayed here in March 2015 and didn't submit a review, but had I done so I would I would have given the hotel 5 stars. Everything was top notch. The adjacent restaurant, Tarquino, was then open, and it was also amazing. My room then was large and beautifully appointed. Because of that memory, I enthusiastically returned here again in...

It's a boutique hotel located near several good restaurants on a quiet street. We spent here about 6 -7 days. My rooms were large with two queen size beds. Bathroom shower all large including a large jacuzzi tub. All personnel is friendly and personable in particular Denise and Ivan. One thing they lack compared to a larger hotel is quality...

My husband and I recently stayed at this property for five nights. It is in an very nice neighborhood that was formerly filled with the mansions of the wealthiest members of Buenos Aires society. I believe the owner converted one of the former mansions into this small hotel. The neighborhood is very quiet and the hotel well situated to walking...

We stayed in two different rooms after returning because of an airline glitch--both were absolutely beautiful. Hub Porteno is a very small, impeccably designed boutique hotel in a very exclusive area. It doesn't even have a sign. Huge rooms, high ceilings with beautiful drapes, a mixture of antiques and contemporary furnishings, ultra luxurious bathrooms, gorgeous rooftop garden, very helpful staff....

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
