Well, this title really sums up most European Style hotels, doesn't it. The hotel provided a very pleasant stay. The staff was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the bar was a great place to meet other guests and friends we were traveling with. They even served late night sandwich snacks (although I wouldn't rely on them to fill you...

I had a fantastic experience with this cozy, comfortable, well located, and overall affordable place. Scrumptious breakfast. A great little gem.

the hotel was according to the price, functional, but rooms very small. when we arrived somebody stole parts of our luggage (moeny, passports, notebook, etc) out of a corner in the restaurant when we served our breakfast in a distance of approx. 6 m from our luggage. there were only four people in the whole restaurant....and the buffet was in...

I just arrived from Buenos Aires and I stayed at Sarmiento Palace with 4 other friends for 3 nights. The hotel isn't horrible, but it's not good... The rooms are very tiny, a little bit smelly and with old furniture. Besides that, it was very clean. We couldn't turn on and off the air conditioner from the bedroom, we had...

This is a good hotel in the center of Buenos Aires. The furniture is not new and it is carpet floor but everything was very clean and the staff very helpful. The lift is very tiny, but that's not exactly a problem...

I spend six days with my wife in this hotel and we liked. Was nothing special, but not bad too. In my opinion it worth the price we paid. The rom was clean, the bed ok and it has a colour tv (with cable). The bathroom was small, but clean and with a hair dryer. The elevator was small (very...

Hotel is okay (rooms reasonably clean) and good location, however, the first morning there our electricity went off and they took a long time to fix it. Reception is overrun with too few staff so expect to wait to check in. No towels in the room the second day and again took ages to get someone to bring them. All...

I spent two nights in this hotel and I can't complain about anything. The rate per night was really cheap (around 40 dollars), and to my surprise, the hotel has a great location in Buenos Aires: two blocks away from Corrientes street that has the major theatres and libraries in Buenos Aires. Also, the "Obelisco" (city's landmark) is some 15...

I would not recommend this hotel, despite the bargain price. The main problem was at checkout, when they ¨conveniently¨ misplaced my discounted rate and tried to charge me the higher price until I showed them the confirmation email and even then, they made me wait 20 minutes while they checked with the manager. This caused me to miss the only...
