3 star hotel, however beds were super comfortable and staff was exceptional. Location to walking many different sites was ideal. I only ate breakfast every morning I was there and the food was plentiful but average. Workout room needs updating.

A 3-star property, this is a nice hotel within walking distance of some pretty neat places that your guidebook will suggest you hit. The staff are very friendly but in that reserved way that seems typical of Buenos Aires. Deborah and Majeda were very helpful at all times, as were the rest of the staff, especially the breakfast and bar...

Dear Mr. Ruhil, Thank you so much for rating us 4 stars and for all of your kind praises. I couldn't wait to show your review to Debora and Mayira. I am so lucky to have them working with me and I appreciate them everyday. As you well mentioned, our location is perfect, we are just a few steps away...

We spent five days at the Hotel Bel Air and were very happy with our decision. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helped us make restaurant, car and tour reservations. We enjoyed the daily breakfast and the fact that we were only a few blocks from the main sights in B.A., including the Recoleta cemetery, Avenida Santa Fe...

the room was very quiet, had an insulating window to keep the street noise out. Did not have a view, since it opened into an atrium. The room was small, but had extra cubby spaces for toiletries, hooks for towels, etc. Great for convenience. AC was not adjustable, just had an on/off button. Practical, overall.

Spent 3 day at the Belair hotel before our cruise. Hotel was very nice. Clean rooms with everything we needed. Breakfast buffet that was included was very good. Staff was very nice and helpful with directions. Recoleta Cemetery where Eva Peron in entombed is about a 10 minute walk. Shopping center across from the cemetery. Very nice area to walk...

This hotel beat our expectations. Situated in the fancy part of Buenos Aires, the room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and you could walk to major landmarks. We enjoyed our stay and if you plan to stay in the Recolta area then pick this hotel. Also great value for money.

We used the Bel Air as our home base while visiting BA and Uraguay. The hotel is almost non descript. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The lobby is small. There are only two chairs to sit in while waiting for a cab. This hotel might benefit from getting a concierge although not sure if that might change its...

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
