Hip, fun and completely comfortable! We adored staying here. The staff was amazing - each and every one of them greeted us with kindness and care. Our room was so stylish - white leather, great amenities, and spacious. The Tango show on property was a hoot - and so easy because when it was over we just walked upstairs! Be...

We recently concluded a 2 day stay at Faena hotel in Buenos Aires. The hotel is an interesting architectural accomplishment being that it was a converted commercial property that actually worked! The staff and amenities were wonderful. The entire staff went above and beyond and catered to our every request. The location in Puerto Madera was wonderful and we were...

We had a suite which was AMAZING! The bed is the most comfortable one I have ever slept in in a hotel. The restaurants were great, the spa was the best, and all staff were super!! The Rojo Tango Show is a must. We have been to others and this one is by far the best!

A beautiful hotel in the middle of Puerta Madera. Well located. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Accommodated all of our needs. Only had breakfast in the restaurant- a little limited in selections. The bar was beautiful and had a wonderful atmosphere. Interesting cocktails.

Dear Beverly, Thank you for choosing Faena Hotel Buenos Aires, and for sending in your comments. I was pleased to note that you felt our location in Puerto Madero was appropriate and the hotel staff was according to your expectations, but naturally disappointed that you felt our breakfast in El Mercado service was a little poor. We wanted to spend a week in Buenos Aires away from the main city centre. The Faena Hotel in Puerto Madera was the perfect location for us. Previous reviews sum it up perfectly with the hotel design and ambience being outstanding. We wanted an outdoor pool and were not disappointed. The pool are was fantastic and not too busy. The...

The youthful vibes from beautiful people hanging around bar, restaurants and small lobby area enhance the romantic mood set by very hip surroundings. The hotel does not rate 5/5 in my book only because the guest rooms are tiny with inconveniently cramped bathrooms. On the other hand, one should not be spending much time in the guest room as all...

Loved the quirky and chic environment. The whole place is dedicated to detail. And random touches. The swimming pool has a crown. Not just any crown, but a gold one. Travelled with 7 people. 6 thought it was the best BA has to offer. The other one didn't think much of the eccentricity, but that was why the rest of...

This hotel is awesome. Designed by Philippe Starck (the Delano, the Mondrian), this hotel is a fantastic treat of lush reds and antique browns. The service is top notch. The pool is fantastic (although I can't say I cared for the gigantic crown in the center of it but oh well). The seemingly impossibly long entrance way will certainly grab...

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
