The pillows were badly stained, the headboard stained and filthy, the net curtain had multiple stains and were dirty. The bathroom had a cracked cistern; multiple marks on the toilet seat; the taps were worn away to the brass underneath. The shell sink had it's enamel worn away. No extractor in bathroom so ceiling paint flaking. The windows opened onto...

The hotel is in a very good spot in the center of the city, near the main walking street. The guys at front desk are ok. Helpful and friendly. The rooms are of the nice size. A big problem is air in the rooms. While it gets quite hot there are only windows opening to a small inner court which...

Tritone hotel is in a great location close to restaurants and tourist attractions. The room was very spacious and the shower was great! Breakfast was decent consisting of bread, jams, ham, cheese, pastries etc. There was wifi in the room which was generally quite good. The only downside was that rooms that face the main Street have the noise from...

The rooms are clean and comfortable, wifi is great, hot showers are excellent and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly compared To elsewhere in Argentina! Centrally located it is very convenient. However, I would recommend staying in one of the other neighbourhoods such as San Telmo if staying in Buenos Aries over the weekend or on public. The central...

I went to Tritone with a friend and everything was perfect! The staff is very very nice, they gave us a huge room because it was low season. Everything is very clean and with AC, the location is great and the breakfast is good. The only thing they need to improve is the wifi strength. Everything else was perfect!

Stayed here on a recent trip to BA. The location is excellent -- just parallel to the Florida pedestrian street where you can exchange your US$ on the blue market for AR$ and on the border of the Reitro and El Centro neighborhoods. “Choose a room not on the main Street.”

“although our rate did not include a free continental breakfast, we had the breakfast all three days and it was quite nice and at 60 pesos per person the price was right. also, two other non related couples from our cruise ship also stayed here for a few days. good choice for all.”
ret_revron, 22 Feb 2015 | Read review
“Not room 84. Seems like a well-worn dorm room with 2 single beds. Like other comments here, you balance the value - so this is still good if you get a great price. Unsure how to judge other rooms, but we also stayed in 101 and it felt like the Penthouse! (I think it was, top floor and walk up a few stairs). Had a sitting area leading up to a room with a queen bed, then an additional room with 2 single beds. Bathroom roughly the same as the other (needs to be torn out and replaced, but clean) - needs a facelift but fully functional. In spite of this large room - one towel was provided. Staff very helpful to accomodate any requests thought.”
