This is a hotel in the business district of Buenos Aires and is very much geared for the business man or woman. I stayed here two years ago and found it well located, adequate and peaceful. Functional more than spectacular. Having just returned not much has changed everything remains just about adequate however the once quiet bars on the street...

It is very well located near bus station from Tienda Leon and dock of ships to Colonia. It has 2 pubs in the same street and the metro station is close by. Breakfast is awesome it has a nice selection of fruits, of cereal and typical pastries and even sushi!!!

The hotel is old and not well kept. The service is terrible, people at front desk are rude and don't care for guests. A lot of noise coming from the old hydraulic system and several water infiltration spots. The location is the only good thing.

Upscale high-value hotel with many amenities. Terrific English speaking service. Excellent downtown location near shopping malls, restaurants, bars, etc. Full breakfast included in our rate. Lots of restaurants within walking distance ranging from Argentinean comfort food to upscale steakhouses, all very affordable thanks to favorable exchange rates. Everybody prefers US$ to the peso because of inflation, and your money goes...

The hotel is very conveniently located, downtown, lots of bars and restaurants and shopping mall nearby. Check-in was smooth and front desk staff was friendly and efficient. We had a nice, big room. The room was clean with good working A/C; the bed excellent; nice bathroom with toilettries. Good breakfast with excellent choice.

This hotwl is super conveniently lovated downtown and is within walking distance from a lot of places you want to visit in ba. Staff is nice, the hotel is beautiful and clean, and the breakfast was superb. Only glitch was internet, which was expensive if you were not careful. But overall, two thumbs up!

Located in the center of the city, in front of several bars, nice buffet for breakfast, access to main streets, subway, turibus, buquebus, marqués port, etc. A good option to stay when you come to Buenos Aires.

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
