Well located, near Florida a pedonal street, Colon Teatre and Obelisk.
A breakfast agreeable but not extraordinary. Rooms are clean and with a good area.

I have appreciated this hotel that at first glance raise strange emotions; mixture of melancholy and nostalgic memories.
Furnitures are bit old style but at the end you like it.
Breakfast is minimalist and convivial.
Service is correct in all respects.
Central location, easy to get everywhere. Staff are lovely but it’s was quite an average hotel. Very tight bathroom, food wasn’t anything special. It was tidy but I wouldn’t stay again.
Wifi is terrible
Close big mall and heaps of different food places
This hotel is Meliá standard, wide room with excellent shower. Good infrastructure for business trip, they have space for collaborative work and meetings. The breakfast is good, with good variety. The staff is not so friendly, but they provide what you need.
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with
ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.

No info about shuttle, but the hotel will organise a taxi for you. This is safe and the price is truly affordable. Most of the times I have paid with my bank card, and also had local currency at me already changed before my trip. Most banks can do that for you. USD can always come handy, but you will get lost with exchange rates.
Many places worth to visit are in walking disctance, but you will not avoid wandering further, since Buenos Aires is a big city. During my visit I had to face some time pressure, so I have used taxis. If you do it carefully, you can manage your day with about 15 USD equivalent.
