Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.

Best hotel in Argentina! Service was second to none!!! Stayed with a group and they could not do enough for us...the pool was a favorite spot I the hotel, since the weather was beautiful. The Ponyline was favorite for a night cap and Elena offered the most perfect buffet

I was in BA, Argentina for work. The hotel gave me everything I needed: comfort and closeness to the offices. I went running every day very early in the morning and when I arrived, I was received with a towel and water, which in summer, is very appreciated.

The hotel is chic, cozy, has an amazing pool and great food. It's located in the perfect spot in Recolleta, too. Most importantly, it's staff took incredible care of us and made us feel like we were part of the family

The facility is five star of course. But the service is ten stars. And that is what makes it the best hotel I have ever stayed in. And then there’s the food! Breakfast is spectacular every morning. Only breakfast I have ever seen with a FULL table of charcuterie.

Hi. I was there in December, after the riots over the change in pension arrangements. I was travelling with a girl friend. We felt safe at the hotel and in the surrounding area - you just need to be sensible about the areas/streets you walk down, particularly at night, but as you say, it’s the same anywhere.

Hello ! The hotel is awasome, but there are no activities for kids. The hotel is conviniently located close to malls and restaurants, walking distance from Recoleta Cemitery, and close to the kids museum.
