Wow, wow, wow were the first words my wife uttered when we arrived for our four night stay. This was a beautifully maintained grand palace from a golden age of intricate decoration, professional service and meticulous attention to detail. The foyer and lobby lounge bar are old fashioned luxury personified. Our room was large, delightfully decorated with top quality furnishings,...

To begin with, I must ask the hotel to explain the tax case referred to by a recent guest, I feel we were ripped off by someone and it has to be checked exactly by whom - this cannot help local luxury tourism. The hotel itself, nothing unexpected, it is a posh old thing and generally speaking well-managed. Great breakfast,...

I have stayed at this hotel many times and had been pleased with the service. However, on my current trip, I booked on Expedia.com. Expedia charged me in advance (as stated) but included the value added tax charge which for a basic room is around USD 80 per night. The tax is no longer applicable to foreigners staying in Argentina....

The first place I stayed with a pillow menu. We tried several out over the stay and found the perfect mix. I studied the bed arrangement which I still use to this day. The complimentary breakfast was very good and I enjoyed a long leisurely breakfast every morning before hitting the streets.

I stayed here to bookend a trip to Argentina hoping for a little luxury and I was left disappointed. It is not bad by any stretch but the place just feels tired.
